The story of Meagashira goes back to 1999, when his first E.P. was released on the infamous Supreme Intelligence label. Having produced hits like 'Through Inner Core' and 'End of Line', this marked the beginning of the Enzyme era. On this popular label Meagashira has kept its underground identity, by releasing tracks such as 'Lost in Music', 'We Are Outsiders', 'Outcasts' and 'Who I Am'.

As an introvert person Meagashira has created his own specific, independent style, without taking too much notice of the fashionable hardcore styles of that moment. His productions are renowned for his singing synthesizer sounds, (computer)voice samples, and dark atmospheres. Melodramatic melodies form the basis of the tracks, but they are never too happy, nor annoying. Meagashira always takes the serious approach when it comes to making music, so you'll not find any gimmicks in his productions. This motto has made him popular in the scene.

In 2012 Meagashira has taken up a whole new challenge, by signing to the Afterlife Recordings imprint. With tracks like 'Purified by Pain' and 'Punishment' the standard for the near future is set.

Alter ego Project Omeaga was initiated when there was material to be released which did not live up to the expectations of a regular Meagashira track. The tracks were more experimental, emptier and having a less well-established structure. Ridicule or almost absurd elements are common ingredients for a Project Omeaga track: it's hardcore with a wink.

Prednison Attack by Project Omeaga was to become a smash hit, but it was initiated as an experimental stomper. As B-2 track it took a while for the DJs to discover it, but in 2004 this track was played at every hardcore event in the world one can think of.

During the years to come the Project Omeaga project allowed for releases such as the Prednison-Attack VIP series, Opbokken, Miss Parkinson and Lady Alzheimer. New tracks on Afterlife include 'Ey Oh!', 'Bunker Opera' and 'the Banjo and the Castanets'. These obscure titles leave food for thought, but sometimes good songs do not necessarily have meanings understandable with common sense.

Strength of Unity is a Dutch organization based in Amsterdam that focusses on organizing hard dance events. With the help of a dedicated crew filled with a couple of skilled DJ's we invite other famous or upcoming DJ's and Live Acts from the scene to perform at our heart pounding events.

On November 24, 2006 a new party organization was born in Amsterdam. A group of friends with a passion for the harder styles of house music noticed that there was a need for small inexpensive party's. From 8:00 p.m. to 2:00, the student pub 'The Kult' converted into an harder styles event called Kultbaze. From that moment there was no stopping us. In the course of five years, the organization has became a big name in the Amsterdam party scene. Good atmosphere, banging beats and surprising themes made every party unique and a must to attend. Strength Of Unity is also one of the few harder style organizations to take part of the annual Amsterdam Dance event.

Together with well-known and upcoming names in the scene, the organization sets down two big success formulas:

Brainburst, hard rough and experimental HARDCORE banging decibels. This event was the cause that the north south line tunnel trough Amsterdam had to be severely reinforced. The mixture between Early Hardcore, Gabba and Psycore sounds blended together with the new dark sounds of Frenchcore makes this party unique, in other words: 'there ain't no other'.

'Ouwe Stijl is Botergeil' (Old Style is Fucking Horny), is our most famous concept and without doubt one of the best parties in its genre. Here we return to the hardest and roughest sounds of Early Hardcore (Gabba). We prove that this style is still very much alive and that the 'gabber' (gabba) feeling still stands for companionship, great atmosphere and going out of your mind!
