Growing up in a very dull part of North Germany, "The Sky is Pink” by Nathan Fake awakened Maik's fierce passion for electronic music. At the age of 17, Maik started throwing parties, inspiring friends to DJing along, and forming a new generation, "The Summerwave" Generation that is in constant search for a secret island with endless sunshine, good mood, and moments of goosebumps. Why Summerwave? Cause he was the first DJ bringing Techno back home in a huge festival named Summerwave. Maik creates magic as soon as he starts his set, giving so much attention to every teeny tiny detail.
