Standing up for what we believe in, and ensuring we all do what we can to make the world a better place, is more important now than ever. As a longtime anti-fascist, I knew Suzi Sabotage's "Nazi Goths, Fuck Off' was the anthem we needed during this perilous time for politics in the US and worldwide. Music has always been a powerful tool for protest, and as we fight to defend our civil rights, Suzi Sabotage's underground goth classic deserves widespread play. These dance remixes provide 7 fresh takes on the track for the dancefloor, and feature some of the dark electronic underground scene's best talents.

"Far-right ideologies are not compatible with goth. Goth is rebellion against the mainstream and celebration of diversity - whereas nazis and conservatives advocate for rigid conformity, which makes them at war against what goth is all about.

The goth movement has always taken pride in being a safe haven for people from all backgrounds, and if nazis are made [to] feel welcome, it will become dangerous for people of color, LGBTQ, women, and just anyone who doesn't harbor fascist views.

SUZI SABOTAGE (Helsinki, Finland)
Suzi Sabotage, who has been dubbed "the Finnish siren" by the press, is a dark coldwave solo artist from Helsinki, Finland. Her wintry, gloomy synthpunk soundscape is both danceable and ethereal - some of her songs also feature the Finnish national instrument, kantele, creating a unique crossover between darksynth and neofolk. She's signed on Out Of Line Music.

Her most notable releases include singles Persona Non Grata, Love at First Bite, and Oodi surulle, as well as featuring on Kill Cave, a single by the US-European band Corlyx and remixing the US band Rosegarden Funeral Party's single Almost Heaven.

In the fall of 2024 she embarked on her first full-length US tour, with shows in New York, California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, and Colorado, after having made her North American debut earlier in the year, playing a handful of shows in the continent, in Los Angeles and two cities in Mexico. In the past she has toured in Iceland (with Kælan Mikla at Brennuöld Festival), Germany (Plage Noire Festival and Berlin, with Front 242 and Zanias), France (with Corlyx), Estonia (Tallinn Music Week), The United Kingdom (at Club Dead And Buried in London), along with a number of shows in her native city Helsinki, including one with Ashbury Heights, one with Starbenders, and one at Helsinki Industrial Festival.

JAVIER GÓMEZ a.k.a JG OUTSIDER is a Spanish DJ and music producer born in Alicante. Since the mid 80's he already started his passion for music and began his stage as a DJ in a very enriching and varied musical moment, influenced by the EBM sounds and the gothic rock bands of the 80's.
His time as a producer began at the end of 1992, which has led him to work with many national and international labels throughout his career. His music has been distributed all over the world in all his stages.

@Darkswoon is an electronic shoegaze trio from the Pacific Northwest with a genre-defying sound. Their music combines elements of darkwave, post-punk and dream pop while paying homage to both old-school goth and electronic influences. Ethereal vocals, melodically-driven bass, and atmospheric guitar layered with drum machines and synths create their distinctive style. 

Originally founded as a solo project by Jana Cushman (vocals, guitar) in 2014, Darkswoon expanded in 2017 with the addition of Rachel Ellis (beats, synths) and Norah Lynn (bass), broadening their sonic landscape. Their latest album, Bloom Decay (2022, Icy Cold Records), marks a significant evolution in their sound. Praised as a standout release, it showcases Darkswoon at their most innovative and introspective. They are currently working on their third album, which is slated for release in 2025.

Dead Blood Cells are a Kent, UK-based industrial darkwave band. Formed in early 2017 in Medway, they bring together a number of influences including darkwave, electro-industrial and more of those tricky post-punk genres. It is a marriage of hauntingly sweet dark vocals with industrial noise. They have appeared on Cleopatra Records Unquiet Grave 2020 compilation, and Slava Ukraini (a darkwave/EBM charity compilation in support of Ukraine).

Described by one reviewer: "They had a song that told you they are industrial, but there was more than this mixed up in this [cacophonous] stage presence. There was punk, experimental and something that vaguely reminded me of some of Fad Gadget's sound."

Muerte Skeletor is characterized by their mix of EBM, darkwave, dark synth sounds with shades of punk.

EternoRetorno has a dark, deep and dystopian sound. With nuances that move through raw techno and industrial seeking to generate a harmonic and dense journey to the hidden places in ourselves.

“Corazón De Bencina” is their first joint creation, where Muerte Skeletor created the dense and dark sounds, with broken drums and sinister melodies and EternoRetorno with subversive lyrics and vocals.

A violinist and pianist since childhood, Zaratustra takes his name from the symphonic poem “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” by Richard Strauss, an epic and powerful piece which inspires him in his compositions. As a producer, Zaratustra was first inspired by the music of the 80s (Italo, new wave, EBM), then extended his palette towards rave and prog-house sounds straight from the 90s. This versatility translates into his DJ sets through a taste for eclecticism and timing: certain atmospheres lend themselves more to a captivating dark disco, others to a dynamic and sunny trance! In 2023, he created the Apéro Notturno collective, which aims to organize Italo/trance parties in Paris in order to celebrate music inspired by the 80s and 90s. Around the same time, Zaratustra launched a live turntable/synthesizer show with Pol Sibil playing the electric guitar.

Never Wake Up is a new side project of Justine, from NABTA, who sings; Ailhenn from Projet Marina plays guitar; and Nicolas Fournial of Prinzessin, on synths and drum machines. Never Wake Up is influenced by deathrock, '80s goth and also French cold wave. Xmal Deutschland, Christian Death and Sex Gang Children were in their minds while recording their debut EP.
