Emanuela Donati, name of art Perla, was born in 1982 in Pescara, Italy.
-In 2010 She began his professional career by collecting different experiences with the best band of  Abruzzo in the world of Soul, Blues and Rock showed an extraordinary talent in the interpretation and improvisation and amazement of the audience.
-In 2012, the meeting with ARTURO VALIANTE piano, ABRAMO RITI Hammond, WALTER MONINI el. bass, BRUNO MARCOZZI drums, SABATINO MATTEUCCI saxes, from which comes the exhilarating experience of "Perla and the Jazzmen" with the project "from Billie to Janis ... ", an evolving project that brought the band to hold several concerts in clubs, squares and festivals and has recently enriched the valuable trumpet CLAUDIO CESAR CORVINI.
-In 2013 after a break of nine months and the arrival of Naima, Perla falls on September,26th, 2014 in Teramo, recording the sold out theater with "Pearl is back" concert, which, in addition to Jazzmen, has had for first time in the line-up of blues guitar LUCA GIORDANO, the concert is result a jewel that you can listen, Perla and the Jazzmen decide to record the audio and video on CD and DVD.
-From This experience was born the new project "Blue Pearls" ft. Luca Giordano, with whom she shot Winter and Spring 2015.
-In Summer 2015 was committed in July with the talented New York-based trumpeter WAYNE TUCKER and his "Orguitan quartet" (MASSIMO BARRELLA guitar, ALESSIO BUSANCA Hammond, STEFANO DE ROSA drums), and in August with the great saxophonist and flutist JAMES THOMPSON , ABRAMO RITI Hammond, piano,  MASSIMO BARRELLA guitar , BRUNO MARCOZZI drums)
- At the end of August 2015 took shape a new magical encounter, the one with DANILO DI  PAOLONICOLA, one of the most extraordinary and original accordion and diatonic accordion in the world, from which was born the “Tutta n'ata storia”Project, a duo where the first time ever sings in Italian, without ever losing its soul blues nature, interpreting some of the original songs that have marked the musical history and paying tribute to the great voices like those of Mina, Mia Martini and Lina Sastri ... the project is totally devoted to Neapolitan music rearranged in an original way. There is a live album.
-In The meantime, it joins with the scene talented and virtuoso guitarist Rock FRANK RICCI with which it shares the stage throughout the winter in duo, showcasing the songs Rock / Blues that made music history.
-A February 2016 is on tour with LARRY MITCHELL, Grammy Award and extraordinary guitarist, as well as producer and sound engineer, with the new "Black Pearls" project, with BRUNO MARCOZZI drums, ALEX NAPOLITANO and STEFANO DE ROSA on drums, ABRAMO RITI Hammond, piano, and DANILO DI PAOLONICOLA accordion. Enter in studio to record their first new song "She's waitin '". In Summer repeats the Tour "Black Pearls" with LARRY MITCHELL guitars, ABRAMO RITI Hammond, ALEX PAOLINI drums, DOMENICO ANDRIA el. Bass,  and present their song "She's waitin '" with a positive response from the audience, playing in the best clubs and taking part to the biggest Blues Festivasl and Jazz Festivals in the Italian territory as "Maratea Jazz Festival" - "Pignola in Blues" - "St. Floriano in Blues "-" Lanciano in Blues "-" Teramo plays the Blues "and many others
Small pieces, therefore, that make up the framework of a jazzwoman old school: all instinct and voice.
