Oona Dahl joined us at All Day I Dream last year both as a DJ and recording artists. Her first release 'high eyes'  was featured on our summer sampler and floated onto the dance floor and into the consciousness of DJ's around the world. Oona studied sound design in the USA before moving to Berlin over the summer of 2015 to continue honing and crafting her sound.  Her first full EP for ADID features deep dreamscapes and innovative arrangements underpinned by solid grooves that capture emotive, twisted melodic expressions. She and her music are a trip to the depths.

ADID012 - Oona Dahl - Let The Light In

For over five years, All Day I Dream has been where deep and emotive meet House music. Propelled by a community of forward thinking artists drawn around the scion of master curator and sunset/sunrise set specialist, Lee Burridge.

They now welcome Lost Desert to the label with the release of Lingala, a two-track collaborative effort with Burridge himself, that also features Junior on vocals. Lost Desert was picked out of obscurity after Burridge discovered his music while trekking in a remote area of a long lost land. A fast forged friendship inevitably lead to the studio, and Lingala’s the enrapturing sophomore result. 

Lingala, is a beautifully composed ten-minute sonic journey. Our Debut Transmission is Gorje Hewek & Izhevski’s interpretation of Lingala is a markedly different affair. Focussing on musical layers rather than the vocal the duo’s  signature spacey atmospheres and minimal rhythmic percussion add extra strings creating uplifting moments that contrast the original’s mood.

The 13th instalment of the WWD Radioshow had us joined by none other than All Day I Dream, Hallucienda & Slumber artist Öona Dahl. Canadian artist Gab Rhome makes his return to All Day I Dream this June with an appearance on the label's scintillating new Summer Sampler. The sunshine VA also includes cuts from the bossman himself Lee Burridge in collaboration with Lost Desert as well as Zone+, PHCK, Superlounge, Budakid, and Modd. Rhome, know for his exquisitely crafted melodic groovers, which includes works on the likes of Anjunadeep and Kindisch, shares a true gem for the occasion. The New York-based Montreal native contributes 'Venus', a beautiful track that many have ogled with their ears over the last few months. Listen in full premiere now :)

Henry Saiz & Band recently revealed plans for their ambitious Kickstarter-funded album Human and a first taste in the form of stunning debut single The Golden Cage. Hot on its heels comes the spectacular indie dance stunner Ghosts, with a host of stellar remixes.
Transhuman Club Version draws the original out into a brooding 9-minute-long techno opus, at first pitching the vocals down before they rise up, giving the effect of a male/female duet. Stuttering, distorted chords rise from the deep beat with delicate arpeggios, the track slowly swelling to an intensity before restraining itself. Its a subtle, classy rework perfect for those build moments in deeper sets. It should be noted that its this style that Henry Saiz & Band will be playing in their live shows, combining the most powerful elements of their originals with a tougher electronic backbone perfect for festivals, arenas and concert halls.
