Dontae Richardson who was formerly known as Dknow from the former R&B group 4thdown, which was known for hit songs “Break me down” and “After 5” is back! No longer is he using the stage presence Dknow, but now he is being recognized by the name Dirt the UFO. He is an inspiring singer, producer, writer, and MC under his very own Indie label Black & White Entertainment LLC. 
Dirt The UFO was born in Florida to parents Bobby and Mattie Richardson. As a child, he was influenced by the soulful singing of gospel. 
“The acronym U.F.O is an extension of my philosophy meaning Unite. Fight. Oppression. It’s about trying to bring awareness to the mind of the people transitioning into change.” 
Although he began singing at the age of 11, Dirt The U.F.O. began to record music at the age of 15 with friends Audre, Meko, and Danny Boy, who is known for helping Pretty Ricky produce their first album. 
“I was always in love with R&B because of the unique high and low tempos within its genre.”
