Enotea is a musician, writer and filmmaker based in Berlin. They have made two albums and several EPs (under aliases like Teiid and Kid Enotea). Their latest album, In The Light Room was released on the independent label InterCourse and is about “waves and walls, and the waves on walls insisting on freedom.” Their sound is in constant flux as made apparent by the tracklist.

i'm tall, i like wearing comfortable clothes, i'm hypersensitive, i have a french passport, i like music, i find capitalism unfair, i dj since 2015, i chill a lot, i make art, occasionally i go to the club because i like feeling subwoofers, i live in berlin, i have endometriosis, and i support the liberation of colonised people. the way the mixtape is mixed is very "me" because i select and play music in the same way that i experience life: big feelings & all sorts of energy flowing continuously. i'd say this mix a clubby version of what i do i my radio show "low end therapy" on soundcloud and on refuge worldwide berlin @refugeworldwide. fave stuff, breaks & murky bass.

the latest VA from the label W133 ! it's got a track of mine on the A side - the track is called "mahsa amini". the record is super special to me because it the first vinyl pressing with my music on it. and on the flip side there's a super bouncy track that i played in the mix, it's called "jacarandas" by sam who & pino peña, w133's boss dude. tip!

I wanted to record something I’d like to hear/play in my fav kind of club setting - an intimate basement with a warm sound system, low ceiling and stripped back, very dim lighting. No theatrics, just sick sound.

Having inspirations from all corners of music growing up has definitely influenced my sound and approach. I like to mix it up and combine several genres, I’m also drawn to tracks which are very ‘crossover’ in sound - the early 2000’s has my heart due being abundant in this style!
