and received

half-love,

almost love,

I feel sorry -
not for myself,
but for the wasted Life,
the rude rejection
of a mystery.

Devi, unseen.
Devi, unwanted.
Devi, unrecognized.

Life’s magic ignored,
all spells erased.
No wish
to mix colours
into the grayscale hours.
No wish for music
between dull words.

Devi falls -
and always rises:
hungrier, fiercer,
yet gentle
as a dove.
Always triumphant.
Turning sorrow
into Power.

Seeking,
until she finds herself -
the center of stillness,
that can hold
all her waters,
and her lava.

The center from which
she springs as Life,
and returns

I summoned back the pieces of myself
