 This month’s guest mix come from Robin Perkins aka El Búho and his words tell us all about it:
“The concept behind this mix was improvised productions around the teme of transitions and all at 80BPM. This is music inspired by transitions, moving between cultures and countries and equally music moving between rhythms and melodies – inspired by my own move from Mexico City to Paris. It is 100% original music, not released – like a tapestry of sound and a journey more than a series of tracks!”

Hinkstep is an experimental downtempo project filled with psychedelic sounds and love for family and nature of Jonas Tegenfeldt – a talented musician and audio engineer born and raised in the northern part of Sweden. After discovering the “other side” of Infected Mushroom’s groundbreaking album Converting Vegetarians, Jonas was hooked on the manifold possibilities of downtempo psychedelia. His boundless experiments in the years that followed eventually gave rise to a refreshingly eclectic style further influenced by the likes of Porcupine Tree and Younger Brother.
