The Poorly Mix

It’s been a while since a did a show on Rude, but I’ve been busy collecting tunes I would play up there, so I thought I would put a Rude mix together.  However I’ve got so many tunes it would have been a 4 hour mix, so I decided to split into 2 parts.

Part 1 starts off with some more laid back and rolling tunes, then I move into some darker beats and finish off with some 170s jungle. 

Part 2 is mostly 160s jungle new and old, and finishes off with some Hardcore sounds.  It also includes 6 tracks from J Majik’s forthcoming LP ‘Always Be’ which is coming out soon.

Having worked with and been involved with a variety of studio sessions in studios in London since 1998, I wanted to create my own alias of what experimental and heavy music should sound like. “It’s Always” features dubbed out vocals from a vocalist/songwriter Deborah French. I’m Influenced heavily by producers DJs, and musicians of all genres who push the technology and meaning of music. Believing that music is the language of the soul, I have tried to create a journey of sound that will transcend the material world and take the listener to another place.
