Entry for the 99 Sounds Contest. Kind of creepy with a huge dark ambience influence. Would probably work well in some horror movie. 
A bit about how I made some of these sounds. I began by recording the distorted reverb from one of the rain samples, then pitching it down and feeding the signal back through itself to create the feedback sound that can be heard at points. I also automated the pitch on things such as scratching glass to serve as a kind of rise. I also layered a few of the large hit sounds in order to create the huge boom sounds heard in the piece. There's a ton more stuff that I can't really go into as I would be here for many hours describing.

Using all 99 Sounds excellent sample libraries and messing with resonant filters to get most of the tonal elements.  Also using 99 Sounds samples as IR files in convolution reverbs.

Piece borne of being on pain meds after orthopedic surgery.  Not meant to encourage or promote the abuse of opioids in any way, shape, or form.

Also, my first composition using Ableton Live.

Opioid Haze - Final Mix

Another composition using Ableton Live.  On this one, all the sounds are from either the ARP 2600, or Arturia's excellent emulation, the ARP 2600 V.

Changed the title of the song.  Previously was called "Arpish."
