Some might call it meditation, some taking a break. The name doesn’t matter though. It really doesn’t. What matters is embracing the space you occupy at this very moment until it begins to embrace you.

You don’t need this new suit, or the latest yPhone, or those weirdly cheap chimes from that online shore. All you need is yourself and the knowledge that what happens happens. 
Oh, and maybe Lemonella to create the retreat you need, with the flick of a switch and the turn of the delay knob. 

Then – and only then – you can begin to bring color to the world around you.

This was a mesmerising and emotional evening surrounded by friends and a simply beautiful & open minded crowd in Bachstelzen (Velvet Soup). 

This set is comprised of new & old unplayed material, and sound experiments I created in the build up to Fusion.

I want to say thank you to everyone, you made me feel something intense on this evening, returning home was never harder, and I'll never forget it.

Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Die Türen öffnen sich, leicht säurig. Herein, heraus, in die Cenote. Leicht benetzt ein jeder und ein überhaupt, ganz sanft so über allem. Mitten im Urwald, ganz weit, ganz wach, ganz nahbar und ganz fern, haben @WIDE-AWAKE-8 gespielt und mitgebracht was wir hier hören. Ganz live halt und ganz schön, auch ohne Blätterdach.

Wenn es Nacht wird und wenn fast alles schläft, kommen sie hervor aus ihrem gemütlichen Versteck. Auf leisen Sohlen schleichen die Beiden unermüdlich im Mondscheinlicht umher und jeder noch so unentdeckte Winkel der Nacht wird durchforstet. Nichts bleibt im Dunklen verborgen, nicht die kleinste Ecke gerät in Vergessenheit. Mit jedem weiteren Erkunden klingt jeder Ton sanft zu uns herüber und hüllt uns ein, wie eine kuschelig, wohlig, warme Decke. Eine entspannte Gemächlichkeit breitet sich aus, als wäre Tomte Tummetott persönlich vor Ort. Doch es ist nicht Tomte, der uns so gekonnt in die Kuschelecke lockt, sondern zwei wohlbekannte Musikerinnen. Danke für diesen Kuschelmodus, danke @naroma & @ramonawouters aka @naromaramona

having nothing to do i just went around my hard drive and found this old recording. i remember that after the gig i was ashamed of my performance and didnt want to upload the mix. what the hell? i mean yeah, there are some imperfections. that's simply because i was damn drunk and we had a fucking wild party. isn't that what my life used to be about? @mrux, his drummer ronny, @leon-kostner and me travelled 2000km across europe to play this gig. take a break to imagine that. i would give a lot to have a party like this today and play a show like this today or anytime in the god-damn near future. just listening to the recording already gives me the craves and i cant help myself thinking, that actually everything was alright back then even if i thought it was shit. maybe it wasnt shit. or maybe it was a bit. but definitely not as shit as fucking today. i hope you can enjoy the dubs.  t
