dualism all night long

wir schreiben das jahr 2023.
es ist spätsommer, oder ist es eher sommerlicher frühherbst?
hmm.. eigentlich auch egal. die sonne scheint uns ins gesicht und das fühlt sich irgendwie super wohlig an.
die ausgiebigen spaziergänge im wald machen nachdenklich, fast ein bisschen melancholisch.
wir bestaunen die verfärbten blätter, während die welt da draussen crazier und krasser wird. es fühlt sich an als ob um uns herum die feuer entfacht sind.
wir halten inne.. wir bleiben stehen.. wir verstehen wie gut es uns geht. wow!

At the forefront of blending acoustic and electronic sounds, integrating themes and techniques from cultures and traditions the world over, Toby has worked with musicians and producers as ingenious and diverse as Pink Floyd’s Dick Parry, Natacha Atlas, Tim Wheater and Hawkwind – to name just a few. Arkadiusz Dmytrow aka ‘arkadiusz.’ is a polish musican and blogger since 2012. 
Born in Poland but raised in the western part of Germany, he studied in Bavaria special education for kids with problems in their behavior. Music has been ever an important part of his life. But all started in 2010 and his life in Frankfurt am Main. There he visited frequently the famous former Vinylshop ‘Pro Vinyl’ and the ‘Robort Jonson’ Club in Offenbach am Main. Booth had in retrospect the most influence in his decision to start mixing and for sure in his style of music. 
Until his first gig passed two more years. During his studies in Würzburg he found sympathizers and they started together rapidly their own Partyseries called ‘PIKNIK’ (2012). Her mantra is to play music, that they like and not what the people like. It has been a realy nice part of his life.
His biggest gig has been last year at the ‘Brüxsel Jardin Open Air’ where he has played alongside  ‘Acid Pauli’, ‘Couer’ , ‘Sushiflow’, ‘Dka’ and ‘Nathe Oye’ in front of 2000! extatic people. A great experience for him.
From the beginning ‘arkadiusz.’ has been more focused on deep hypnotic and experimental electronic music like Lawrence and Nathan Fake with a touch of melancholy. Maybee its an unknown expression of his polish roots.  Since then he changed his style marginal. OK he plays today more cluborientated, faster and acidinfluenced. Maybee also more technotasty but everytime hypnotic and very deep (Basedrums).
Generaly he tries to overlook trends and focuses strongly on little known genres that represent his merits. Always hypnothic and deep driven, techno and acid influenced, sometimes slow or fast, is his appreciation of music a special experience for everyone.
As crewmembership of the online magazine ‘Das schoene Leben’ he started in 2012 writing articles to support unknown Musicans or the spread his taste of music to the world.
Besides hes a part of the Afterhoursounds Crew from Berlin, resident of Global Transmission and Getting Deeper.
Also he is a friend and a musican from the berlin based Open Air series ‘Open Air togo’ where you can catch him sometimes at the mixer.

As we soon open the doors to our second show at Viertel Klub in Basel we wanted to take you on a trip down memory lane to our first show. We recall a hot summer day, where we once again welcomed Holger Hecler in our midst to take our new Swiss family on a musical tour.

Little did we know that his performance would be our favourite set of Holger up to that date...

The set takes you deep into the mind of this musician. As most of his work you immediately hear the precision with which he elevates everything he touches.
