On Tuesday morning at Garbicz 2023, I had the honor of closing this magic weekend (unofficial stage) with this after-hours set. Co-organized with my partner in crime Soulfunk, we created an intimate space for the last dance. This mix is a reflection of those magical moments, blending juicy indie dance beats, groovy house rhythms, and melodic, sensual vibes.

What we need now - maybe more than ever - is love. Not the image of love that we often carry around in clichés, but love in its true essence, its inescapable core. We need love in a radical way that unfolds its strength precisely in its fragile vulnerability, is aware of its fallibility and is therefore committed to the process and growth. A love that places the WE and not the EGO at the center of its actions. In other words, a love that is aware of its social and political responsibility, is active and wants to shape and heal. 
Imagine a world immersed in this love, in which we use all our knowledge, our skills and our wisdom for the benefit of all and not to maximize profit. 
In this spirit and full of love, I now share this summer memory with you. It was a hot dream on an august night at the Garbicz Festival. But whoever comes to action after dreaming creates new realities. So my biggest thanks go to all those who have supported me in making this dream come true. 

Wherever you are and however you spend these next few days, be good to yourselves and to each other and don't forget the paradises we can create together when we unite instead of divide.

Niki Sadeki is a self-taught, high-spirited creative, emboldened by the ideas, minds and sounds scattered in her midst. At the core of it all, a desire to connect people – be it through rhythm, events, or materializing projects. Whether DJ, radio host, event organizer, label collaborator, curator and producer, Niki moves along with spontaneity, and a get things done ethos. Motshabi has roots in South Africa and Luko stems from Poland. These two vines have now intertwined in Germany and are a Berlin-based duo. This project was born at the Garbicz pre-party in 2024 and since then, continues to bloom. Their style encompasses a wide array spanning from deep house, afro house, minimal to progressive.

Russian duo Doyeq return to Kiosk ID with Sequence 8—a radiant three-tracker that navigates the edges of groove and abstraction, diving deep into three distinct soundscapes. Across a triad of originals and a remix by Mexico’s Nada, catalog no. 37 unfolds beautifully engineered layers of melodic storytelling, striking a delicate balance between sonic opulence and spacious restraint.

Doyeq open their EP with Sequence 8 and its vast, maximalist orchestra of shimmering arpeggios and warm, enveloping saws. Drawing its power from the hypnotic interplay of shifting tones, textures, and timbres, the track offers a masterclass in harmonic layering—ornate yet feather-light, powerfully maximal yet enrapturing and approachable. Where Sequence 8 is lush and melodically opulent, Broken Space pulls its complexity from a searing found-sound-inspired array of sizzles, lasers, and impacts. Alma Linda is a Berlin-based DJ who originally hails from Chile. She is known for her captivating live performances and eclectic music style that draws inspiration from a wide range of genres, including techno, house, and disco. In addition to her work as a DJ, Alma Linda is also a passionate activist for intersectional feminism. She has been outspoken about the need for greater representation and inclusivity within the electronic music industry, and has used her platform to raise awareness about issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community. Her activism and artistry have earned her a loyal following among music fans around the world, and she continues to be a driving force for positive change both on and off the dance floor.

On stage shows she fuses the above with fully choreographed dances and choir performances. Through the endless variety of sounds and genres she plays, her message of boundless love shines crystal clear: in a world, where our insecurities are turned into money, loving yourself becomes a political act.
