<i>Mutazione</i> is a collection of reactionary underground electronic and new wave rarities from Italy, recorded during the tail end the Anni di Piombo, the "Years Of Lead," a period of unprecedented political turmoil between the late ‘60s and early ‘80s.  Compiled and curated by <a href="http://www.twitter.com/alessionata" target="_blank">Alessio Natalizia</a>, <i>Mutazione</i> explores the full spectrum of sounds from this rich era of Italian music. Styles range from brooding new wave and post-punk to raw electronic pieces and claustrophobic, whispered vocal cuts, with much of the music being released only on limited cassettes and through fanzines, remaining largely undocumented until now.

Covering their entire output from 1973 to 1976, this first retrospective features their singles for Moto Moto and TFC, their sole album, ‘Ave Africa’ and an unreleased radio session recorded in Tanzania in 1973.
