Hey guys!  Not many people have heard from me in the past 30-45 days.  I decided to take a personal leave from releasing new music in order to allow myself time to grow from a musical, professional, and individual standpoint.  Since my last release, I've made the decision to sacrifice my track and field scholarship and drop out of college with intentions of pursuing music full time.  Aside from that, I chose to spend the past two months developing my project and trying to push my creative capacity to new heights in order to be the best producer and musician that I am capable of being.  2017 marks a new era for me, and I am SO excited to share it with you all.  I can't thank you enough for your support this past year, and I know I'll make you proud and give you some AMAZING music this year.  ⚙

To celebrate the new season of the Episodic Festival series, premiering next week on August 4th and 5th at The Gorge Amphitheater in George, WA, Pretty Lights has released a collection of rare, and unreleased tunes into the hands of fans in the form of USB 2.0. As the “Pretty Lights Movement” project continues to evolve, the idea of getting old and rare tunes to the fans as a way to progressively collaborate, bring the entire community together, share art in a different format, and move these rare pieces of sound forward to the social media platform also continues to evolve.

The Pretty Lights team has big things in store for this years Episodic Festival Series and the rest of 2017, along with the growing #PLMovement project… The expansion of this idea, the ongoing collaboration within the PLF community, and the sharing of art from all the different artists involved in new progressive ways, are things to look forward to from the PL team and the family in the near future… Stay Tuned!

It is named after Saturn's 6th largest moon, which looks to contain the necessary components that would support extraterrestrial life. We know this because of Cassini, a spaceship sent to study Saturn, its moons, and its wonder.

Cassini's mission ended today, September 15th, so we thought it fitting to release our track Enceladus in celebration of it's 20-year quest through space.

It feels serendipitous that our 20-year journey as a band has been going on as long as Cassini has been exploring. And though Cassini's mission may be ending, ours still feels like it's just beginning 🚀 

We're grateful for this life and the ability to continue to share art + music with you all. Enjoy the new track and we'll see you on the Enceladus Tour ✌️

20 years before the emergence of STS9, NASA sent Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 on a mission to the farthest reaches of the solar system and beyond. Each of these probes was equipped with identical Golden Records, special messages attached to what Carl Sagan called “a bottle launched into the cosmic ocean.” They contained numerous images and sounds from throughout the world, pieces of music from various cultures, a map identifying the location of our planet, and other information for whomever, or whatever, might find them.

While the Golden Records included greetings in 59 languages, they made no mention of nations and borders, wars and rivalries, or anything else that divides us. What they did mention was life, love, peace, birth--the things that bind us to one another and to the planet we call home. 

The Universe Inside is a reflection of this message. It is a story about human identity and the magical truth of who we are, where we’re going, and our place in the Universe. It says we are one, made of stardust and the forces of nature that evolved over billions of years. Connected by the sun, moon and stars, we are the living, breathing conscience of the Universe.
