St. John the Baptist is an Orthodox Christian church of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America. We are located in Beaverton, Oregon (Portland westside). Most of what we upload are the weekly Sunday homilies, mainly offered by Fr. Theodore Dorrance and Fr. Timothy Pavlatos. Each recording begins with intonations of the appointed Epistle and Gospel readings. We cite the Gospel reading in the sermon title, as this is the passage on which the sermon is usually based. We trust that you will find these homilies spiritually enriching, and bring you closer to Christ and His Church. Visitors are very welcome. St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church is the local expression of the ancient and historic Christian Church that you read about in the Book of Acts and referred to in your New Testament.  It is the "One, Holy, Apostolic and Catholic Church" located in Bellingham, Washington.  St. Sophia is located at 510 East Sunset Drive, Bellingham, Washington.  We worship Jesus Christ when we celebrate the Divine Liturgy, which is held each Sunday at 10:00 am.  We are a parish of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.  All are welcomed to come and worship with us.
