That's the Way We Roll

a little taster from our upcoming CD of original Ukulele songs (work in progress). The song was written for us by local songwriter Geoff Robinson and is being used to promote our 25 hour Ukathon!

A piece of music composed to commemorate the centenary of WW1. The tin in the photo was owned by my Grandfather, Alfred Charles Jebbitt, who was an RAMC stretcher bearer and an 'old contemptible'. (the Red Crosses refer to the Medical Corps). 

In 1915 he was a POW at Sennelager, and the imagery in this music was partly inspired by me imagining his time in the camp.

The piece is dedicated to those who did their best to try and save lives in the midst of all that horror and slaughter.
