I stay away from potent and addictive drugs as such. I'm able to enjoy myself without them, and I drink socially. Some I know forego anything that alters their perception, like my friend Jose.

I have enough things in my way, why would I want to make them worse by adding things that will make reaching my goals more difficult, let alone destroy my life?

I put a lot of effort into bringing up my peers, especially with problems that I deeply relate to.

DD: Designated driver. Someone like Jose as mentioned before. We're all still able to have fun with each other.

When something is really pulling me in, I can hyperfocus and forget about other things while I'm in my zone. Simple or mundane tasks can sometimes be difficult to get over unless I make them interesting.

Because of my wide span of interests, I can get really good at nice things very fast, especially creative things

Once I reached my teenage years and became more independent, I realized on my own how my ADHD symptoms could effect my ability to complete school work.

I started spending a lot of time pursuing the creative outlets that I do today, imagining how I could one day become successful doing them.

If I don't find ways to get around my own mental roadblocks, I'll never reach the success that I want
