La Fonze was born in 2017 when he found himself in a very emotional point in his life. he managed to find a way of expressing what he was feeling in the form of writing where at a later stage started to bring his lyrics to life in the area of hip hop.

La Fonze is known as Anidio Chiure Da Fonseca  an artist that holds a lot of respect for the true culture of old school hip hop. 

Born in Mozambique and grown up in South Africa, with quite a diverse mixture of nationalities in his family such as Italian, Portuguese and mozambican  finds himself on this musical path to see what it can lead to.

Forged in the UK free party scene of the mid 2000's, Obsidian23 is no stranger to the underground sounds. From barns to slaughterhouses, warehouses to car parks and tunnels, he has laid down a plethora of different genres throughout the years with his old soundsystem crew DNA (RIP), with regular appearances at the fabled London "Scumtek" parties. Putting on club nights throughout the years all over the UK, including cities such as London, Bristol and Lincoln to name a few, as well as powering and performing on the TakeOver stage at Illusive Festival, Obsidian23 has many a notch on his belt when it comes to pushing tunes to the masses!

After a hiatus of over 5 years, he has returned to the scene with more of a focus on 4x4 styles which have always been the underlying passion of his DJ career. Always leaning towards the harder side of whatever genre he spun, Obsidian23 is re-entering the battlefield with an arsenal of Industrial Hardcore & Skullstep/Crossbreed in the bag, alongside some kicks in his Hard/Acid Techno selection that are sure to push any soundsystem to its full potential!
