"This mix contains pieces of music and artists I listen to a lot at the moment.

It was important to me to create something that doesn't stick to any rules or bpm. It sounds very dreamy, but is also distorted in some parts. I like it when different harmonies come together and create their own mood."

The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently. In his tracks the most seductive elements are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions.

But not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood.

At the beginning of 2019, he released his first  work 'A Vision Of Light' in Danza Nativa, where currently he is one of the pillars of the label based in Buenos Aires.

Released courtesy of Diffuse Reality Records, the forward-thinking state-of-the-art sound focused label. Passwar D forthcoming debut album Personal Cosmology was pe-premiered at Teorema Festival in Barcelona, and it is the artist-in-residence at Brooklyn based music collective DJ's Daughter.

Lives in Tokyo. Works slowly while catching various elements as techno music in a broad sense.
In the name of loopdrive, which is an alias as a truck maker, starting with Akihabara Heavy Industries, which is the base of activities, he released an EP and an album on Poland's outlines/guides in 2018 and 2020, respectively, and participated in Tokyo’s abend kollektiv as a remixer in 2022 and 2023.

December's full moon brings the last Selene Series mix of the year. Our 53rd selection wraps up a special year, in which we have had the opportunity to share countless musical adventures. We want to take this opportunity to send a heartfelt 'thank you' to all the artists that have been part of the Selene Series universe: those that contributed to 'The Continuum', those that released music we played in our mixes, and those that made us dream and dance on the dancefloor.  

For the year's closer we chose a sound that, although has been around for years already, we feel has definitely stepped up as a big reality in the 'deep and psychedelic music' realm. Some call it half-time, others tribe, other grey area... but this sound reaches beyond those labels. It picks from breaks, drum and bass, and it is infused with squelchy, wiggly sound design. Some interpret it as fast, some interpret it as, thus the name, half-time. The dancer decides. This sound is as relevant as ever, and we thought there was no better way to finish 2024.
