Scattered In The Wind

#BeatsMeetsBars is a fun new way to meet new like minded people. Combining talent and creativity to produce exclusive new sounds, a network of producers will come together to make instrumentals each adding their own unique touch. Once complete the beat will be released for artists to download a copy and spit a verse. 
At the end of every fortnight the producers will go through all the entries and pick out their top 3 as well as selecting a favorite. Those selected get sent to Jay Chene and TBA for live reviews with interviews being awarded to those who stand out. The selected favorite will receive an award graphic tagged to their wall with their link so their friends and family can see how well they are doing. All entries will be posted to a playlist on soundcloud on an exclusive Beats Meets Bars channel. Rippin Rhymes will also select his very own top 3 verses to make one complete song. it will then be offered out to singers to record a chorus and again offered out to those who play guitars, pianos and other instruments to add even more unique sounds. At the end of every year the completed songs by Rippin Rhymes will be put into a Rippin Rhymes Beats Meets Bars mixtape which will feature various different hosts. GTM Magazine will also be involved with a write up segment on the show and to keep their readers up to date with the Beats meets Bars project and any new networking opportunities that are coming up. 
Finally over seeing this project will be CPO Boss Hogg who will be checking in from time to time to listen to some of the recordings, offer advice and feedback as well as sharing some of his industry experiences with new artists. This unique networking opportunity created by Mrs Rhymes of Rippin Rhymes and I am excited to see just what this could turn into. . Credit to CPO Boss Hogg for the name #BeatsMeetsBars and big thanks to GTM mag for the graphic work.

I grabbed kick and snare, tweaked bass synth for a jamming in Korg Gadget app on iPhone 6s. My Depeche Mode piece of DNA turned the thing into a session of interpretation for “I See You” too fast. I noticed the hook turns alike this fab song from my fav 1982 album “A Broken Frame”. I submit and had a blast!

100% organic Korg Gadget sound. Literally two lines. Drum and Bass (but not that DnB one). First is drum machine spirited beats, London. Second bad ass bass from gadget Dublin. Single bass track because synth notes choke and fight each other this way. Small post treatment in Ableton Live 9.7 for more fun. British and White Channel compressors by IK Multimedia. T-Racks Classic EQ, Plate and Hall Reverb CSR, Quad Image IK tools. Automated.

When Ronny the Rocket and I first made this track, we couldn't decide who would be the best person to add their magical touch to the mix and master of this song. So we decided to have both Wou-Wou & the Wormling and Ill Dub make a version. I originally posted the Ill Dub version on my page and Ronny the Rocket posted the Wou-Wou & the Wormling version on his page. Both Ronny and I eventually took down the respective versions from our page as new music was made. I have numerous songs set to private to eventually delete as I am running out of space on my page and am not going to pay for a SoundCloud Pro Unlimited plan. But, I still like this song, so decided to give it fresh life on my page with the Wou-Wou & the Wormling mix.

Make Music Day (http://www.makemusicday.org/) is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. In conjunction with events held in New York City this year, small mobile recording studios appeared on sidewalks throughout city. These “Street Studios” engaged passersby and festival musicians in the spontaneous, collaborative production of original music. Each street studio was run by a team of two DJ-engineers. Teknofonic artists @she-s-excited and @sonicfear ran one of these studios. They spent a few hours in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood recording, mixing, and looping, while interacting with the public who stopped by to sing, play an instrument, and record sounds that became part of this track.

Wanna Be Your Superman (2017) with Sain Victory

Working out with Robby the robot catching chemical snow on a distant planet and carrying on the theme of kewl gadgets n gizmos with inspiration from the very kool work of Isao Tomita and his early experiments with electronics and sound, this is an orginal electronic tranced dub sci-fi technotronicxz styled track created using a Moog Theremini and rather than play notes by hand via the antena i sent different midi CC controller messages from cubase to create constant drone sounds in the right key and changed the pitch, frequecies and volume this also allowed me to have some type of control over the tempo and syncnronization of the theremini as it hasnt got any! I then synced a Korg SQ-1 sequencer with cubase which was hooked up to little bits using two pitch oscillators a filter and a delay module with the midi out from the SQ-1 hooked up with a Roland tr606 drum machine via a Doepfer dyn sync to trigger it, i also used a cv trigger from little bits to Teenage engineersings Tonic and for the techy nuts amongst us or anyone else theres some links below to the gear used! In childhood we were watching thru the stars with my school bud. Exiting atmosphere, riding deep and cold vacuum (and I don't mean a vacuum cleaner :) ... mentally expanding our presence to far outer-space. Until  rock comes up to your throat. Thinking, - How huge the whole thing is?

Stargaze is dedicated to great artist and friend Gary Miles, Anomon @gary-courtland-miles

Musically, keep pursue Impressionism in music. Might be to complex to some or too simple to others, not the point. Some shorter strokes or deep long waves. With all one intention - let you co-create while listen.
