TechnoTrippin' Podcast 111 mixed by SAVE YOUR ATOLL (ITA).

"Save Your Atoll" is a young project born in 2019 by the Italian artist Antonello Meloni, based in Sardinia. 

After a previous experience in the collective Spacedrome, of which he was cofounder and after exploring the world of bass music, published several EPs and played in many Italian cities, international festivals and some Berlin clubs, the accumulated life experiences have led to a new artistic reflection.
Deep sound and Techno are his new language that is the foundation for a musical expression rich in ambient and atmospheric elements that outline the storytelling. 

After the first year dedicated to presentations and to the recording of dozens of podcasts in 2020 Save Your Atoll begins to release its own productions, first with a single with strong influences "Burial" then contributing to the compilation for the 10 years of The Gods Planet with Mediterranea on TGP X and finally publishing in January 2021 The Universal Pattern, an Ep. of three self-produced tracks.
Several releases are planned for 2021.

@biocym is an artistic project from Italy that seeks to awaken emotions by expressing it's feelings towards reality and the use of atmospheres and scenarios reflected in its sound. The main nucleus of his work reflects the attitude that man must embody in order to move in a dark and inscrutable reality that he must face when he inevitably explores it.
Biocym represents the way in which the artist approaches the way of awakening in himself by contemplating the infinite variety of landscapes of reality and proposes his progressive deepening. His music is the meeting point of his two influences: natural sounds and those other sounds generated by his creativity.

Our latest podcast comes from Italy's Simone Bauer (@simonebauer), a relatively new face on the scene with a couple of well-developed releases already under his belt via @norite and @annulled_music. Inspired by the communal and contemplative aspects of techno, Simone instills the natural beauty of his home city, Terni, into every aspect of his productions and DJ sets. The mix he has given us is immediately impressive, deliberately mixed and weaving deftly through a series of gorgeous, understated tracks. This is truly a journey of the highest order, and we're excited to share it.

조아킴은 말로 표현할 수 없는 것들을 사운드로써 표현한다. 깊고 엄숙하며 때로는 격분하는 듯한 그의 음악 세계는 그 순수한 표현을 통해 자신만의 테크노를 그려내고 있다. 그의 작품들은 우리 마음속에 죽어가는 어떤 것들을 되살리기도 하고, 우리 삶 속에서 거짓되게 꾸며진 것들을 짓밟아 버리기도 한다. 절제된 베이스와 메아리치는 멜로디는 죽은 사회의 침묵을 남겨둔 채 우리를 또 다른 세계로 인도하고 있다.

What Joachim does not put into words is translated into sounds. Deep, solemn and at times enraged, his productions represents Techno in its purest expression. They are made to occupy our dying cathedrals of concrete, to crush the reality of our everyday life under an assumed individuality. The elaborated basses and the echoing melodies grab our minds to throw them in a far away world, leaving the silence of a doomed society behind.

His third EP (Spirit of the Earth) came out on Aarden Records, supported by big names of the deep scene.  Like its name, Petit Astronaute delivers a techno-spacial, harmonious and even almost seraphic techno.

Axis Operandi is the leader of the music platform and series of events - Biotechnology which is focused on promoting psychedelic, cosmic, organic, and hypnotic sounds in techno and broadly defined electronic music. In his DJ-sets, he is looking for a balance between deep, trance, minimalistic and ambient-soaked techno and leftfield or tribal beats. He occasionally weaves elements of minimal house or electro into his sets. In his DJ and promoter activity, he tries to convince his listeners that sets grown out of techno do not have to be mainly strong or mainly dark in their expression, that there is space for a whole range of emotions in the 4/4 area. He performed at events signed by such brands as Up to date festival, Instytut, Revive, Fort open air or Ars Independent. He shared the stage with such artists as eg. Edit Select, Shlomo, AWB, VSK, TAKA, Freddy K or Justine Perry.

We curate raves and we run a podcast mix series 'Studio 11.12 Flights'.

Our raves, labeled as 'Listening Parties', started as a house party and grew to small private raves. The name was inspired by a cover story by RA about Listening Bars in Japan. And Studio 11.12 was named after the actual studio apartment where Herr Banna lived and where this party series started. 

Our mix series; labeled ‘Studio 11.12 Flights’, features DJs from around the world that we very selectively approach. The idea is to expose our audience and local crowd to quality sounds from around the world in the hopes of expanding their knowledge and widening their taste of good music.
