  Basically, we’ve collectively decided to put Viva Machine on hold for a while. There are multiple reasons for this…
  
  
  
  Firstly, in September I am moving up to London to do a masters course. I am looking forward to it immensely but am also very aware that the distance will make it difficult to rehearse as we would usually do. I think personally, I had to take this opportunity and broaden my horizons a little bit.
  
  
  
  Also, creatively it seems lately we’ve all been pursuing separate avenues and very rarely getting together as a five-piece to write. I’m sure you’ll be hearing about some of the new material written by me, Gar, Chris, Dai and Justin soon but it won’t be labelled Viva Machine. These side projects are very different from the Viva stuff and I guess show that we are still passionate about writing music even if it is getting increasingly difficult to find the time to meet up as a five and develop new ideas.
  
  
  
  We put everything we had into it. We put our jobs, education and futures on the line in order to go on tour, to take time out to record and to do all the other band-related business. We put ourselves in debt, financing the manufacture and mastering of the record, paying to stay at every Travelodge in the UK, buying and running our trusty splitter van [which is now for sale btw!]. We’ve decided therefore, that the time has come to put our jobs first, simply so that we can live a little more easily.
  
  
  
  We have had a considerable amount of knock backs, made the odd bad decision and things certainly haven’t gone all our way but we have had loads of fun, and though we may have lost sight of it at times, that is what its all about.
  
  
  
  So on that note, THANK YOU to everyone who has come out to see a show, bought the album, got a t-shirt, come up to say hello, partied with us, let us play in their living room/pub/venue, let us DJ at their club night, let us drink their beer, helped in the making of the record [especially Richard Jackson], helped in getting this record to your/our ears [Peter Hill, all at Rocklouder, Martin, Adam & Jen], to every street teamer who gave out stickers & badges, signed people up to the mailing list and got people into our band.
  
  
  
  As a thank you I’ll be uploading virtually ALL our demos and b-sides over the next few days so that you can follow the link and download something you perhaps haven’t heard before here at soundcloud.com
  
  
  
  We have had an AMAZING time so far. I’m sure there is more to come.

A unique and abrasive rock outlet, Gallery Circus have quickly gained a strong reputation for delivering breathtakingly powerful live shows . Hailing from South Tyneside, Gallery Circus consists of identical twins Daniel and Graeme Ross.

The band have just finished recording their new EP The Night Country.

Adapting their name from the infamous ‘Gallery Cabaret’ in Logan Square, Chicago, Gallery Circus began in this open mic party spot when the brothers decided to move to the USA and befriend the DIY punk scene, playing shows across makeshift venues in the city. After another year slumming and gigging around America’s west coast, they decided to swim back across the pond and released their début single Supercell. This song was featured as Radio 1’s BBC Introducing track of the week. Dan and Graeme played a great number of key festivals including Glastonbury (where their Sunday performance on the BBC Introducing stage was voted as one of the top 25 performances of the weekend by the BBC), boardmasters, Kendal Calling and YNot.

King of Kings is a project by out of Fort Worth Texas, the vibe is feel good beach-side psychedelia. Everything you hear was all done by one man in a small home studio.
