If you've followed me from my My Space days, you MIGHT remember this one (lol). This actually may have been the first time I used the term "Jazzy Tofu" on a track I did, so I'm guessing this was done around the mid-2000s (as I didn't come up with the term until 2004 lol). I always liked this song from his "The Bootleg, vol. 1" CD and I was looking for ways to play it in my sets. So, I decided to put a nice li'l downtempo shuffle on it and VOILA! I was able to let Frank hear it once and he liked it enough for me to remix another track of his called "Groovin'". Hopefully we'll be working together again for the "More Favorites" project as well. Keep your fingers crossed...

Two of Aswad's favourite people, Hair Kid and Q.I who are behind the amazing modern funk duo from Japan — Milk Talk. Their first ever interview which goes over and beyond! Over the last few years, Milk Talk have been consistently releasing incredible modern funk, synth / city pop music. On the show they go to great lengths to discuss about their chemistry and collaboration. We go behind the scenes to discuss how their records are put together, and talk about their recent tour in Tokyo. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, as there is plenty more uncovered. And knowing how much we recorded, let’s just say this is part 1 of their feature 😊
