Your Planet Is Next is the nom de guerre of one Arvid Wretman – multidisciplinary artist, live performer and noise maker from Stockholm, Sweden. Since his 2014 debut cassette under the YPIN alias, through two floor-optimised solo EPs for Studio Barnhus, this self-proclaimed “Mr. Music” has terrorised us with the most gloriously disturbed electronic funk, all while cultivating his puzzling YPIN persona: part failed pop-star, part extraterrestrial threat. On his first full-length release for Studio Barnhus, emotions range from acidic romance to pure paranoia. Rave, screw, electro and chill vibes are all combined on an album that plays like an exhilarating journey through the mind of a mad genius.

This is GDWAX001 the debut vinyl release from GLBDOM, featuring four sumptuous, vintage tinged house tracks.

Up first is 'So Fly' by @saintpaulmoonrise , a soul infused jam with heaps of uplifting vocal samples, organs and synths a plenty, not to mention a subtly jacking beat that steadily bumps the vibe along.

Next up is 'Keep Me Inside' by @ypolewka, taking things back with that classic house piano buzz. A pounding beat, an understated yet driven bass line, strings, pads and some ecstatic vocals all combine for a truly heavenly touch.

@manuold follows on with 'Beating Heart', a super catchy deep house number. Melancholic synth stabs and subtly employed vocal samples, luscious pads and that unmistakable house sax sound: 'Beating Heart' is the perfect track for getting the crowd moving.

Finishing the release off are @marcbrauner & @silver88 with 'Gioia', an energetic house tune with an initiable beat and an exquisite bouncing bass line. A soulful, uplifting vibe from start to finish, 'Gioia' is the perfect end to this awesome debut vinyl release.

We didn't know Jack Shit but we do now - this is a big one. Arsene's debut 7" kicked off this year with his bang-the-box underdog smash hit "Jack Shit". The song went underground-viral seconds after the test presses started circulating garnering commented support ranging from Classic's Luke Solomon, Deeper Shades Lars Behrenroth, Mark Grusane, Radioslave, Danny Krivit, Stones Throw's JRocc, Marcellus Pitman, Darryn Jones even Stretch Armstrong. Lefto debuted it on his Kiosk Radio show while a chance run-in with Moodymann at the airport seems to be the source of it's club debut. Record was sold out weeks before release date.
