Jimmy Brewer is a songwriter originally from Lincolnshire. Bored by his rural surroundings and the manufactured pop music of the day the 8 year old Jimmy Brewer found refuge in a cupboard under the stairs. Housed in this cupboard was his parents’ record collection.


For hours, often skipping school, Jimmy would sit there with his Argos catalogue guitar trying to mimic the sounds he heard. The Everley Brothers, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley all helped to develop his love of a good melodic pop song.


Since releasing his debut album ‘As Time Stands Still’ in 2013 Jimmy has relentlessly toured solo around the country. Along the way he has supported Joan Armatrading, Bernie Marsden, Taylor and Marie and the Dash amongst many others.
Jimmy is working on new material and is hoping to release a series of singles before 2014 is out. Watch this space.


Jodie Marie was signed to Decca Records in 2010 and began writing songs with former Suede guitarist and producer Bernard Butler and singer songwriter Ed Harcourt. Her debut album Mountain Echo (released in 2011 on the Verve imprint) was described by The Guardian as 'velvety and bittersweet’ and received much critical acclaim. She since self-released her second album Trouble in Mind in 2015.

Her sound was described by The Independent as 'having a light-blues and jazz-folk-edge recalling late-1960s singer-songwriters such as Carole King’.

Collaborating again with songwriter Ed Harcourt & Dan Smith (of the Noisettes) and produced by collaborator Owain Fleetwood Jenkins - Jodie Marie’s latest album 'The Answer' is out NOW! (Release 12th Feb 2021) including her first single ‘Carageen' (Sept 18th 2020) & second single, 'This House' (5th Feb 2021) via the Carmel Records imprint, a Caru Music company.
