STO returns with the next chapter of his ongoing series, ‘Kick vs. Clap 3’.

This one expands the formula again. Deeper, more hypnotic, and more fluid in motion. It’s an undulating fusion of rominimal pulse, terrace-ready percussion, and underground house pressure, all wrapped in the warped musicality that defines STO’s sound.

The groove rolls and folds back on itself. Every layer feels intentional, each sound feeding into the next in a tidal rhythm that never quite settles. The energy shifts subtly, rising and falling like a breath, steady, locked, alive.

There’s restraint here, but also momentum. The low-end glides rather than punches, the percussion skims across it, and the textures twist in ways that keep your ear chasing the next turn.

It’s not about big drops or grand gestures. It’s about flow, how rhythm and space can move you when everything’s in the right place.

Built for long blends and late terrace moments, ‘Kick vs. Clap 3’ is another reminder that STO’s focus is precision over excess. He knows exactly how to make even the most minor details do the heavy lifting.

The Berlin-based party series Stützpunkt are starting their new label with „Aleph“. Matrixxman, as well as Stützpunkt’s very own Saturator, Staím and Tymotica are contributing to this first release.

The A-side consists of two main room stompers. „See You In Hell“ takes you on a trip through dystopian worlds, synths pushing you away and pulling you back in before finally letting you go into an ecstatic state at the gates of your destined place. „Dubchord Invasion“ pulls you back out, the chord progressions remind you of old times, sway you into melancholy and then release you into the here and now where you are joyous to be where you are.

The B-side takes a more ravey approach with two dancefloor bombs. „Tridems“ drips of energy that feels like it could keep you going forever, changing it up halfway through, surprising you at every turn, fueling you with new vitality at every chord change or new percussion element. „Access Extortion“ marks the finishing point off all that’s good and bad, no matter which road you’ve been on, facing forward into new beginnings, whilst never looking back, dreaming about all there is to come.

WBR (Max Weber) is a techno artist from Berlin, Germany. He likes to produce his tracks with fast and rowdy hi-hats to create some spirit in it.
