On what was his seventh album on his Here Now imprint, following on in the same vein as his 2020 long format album ‘Your Revised Reality’ - 'No Man Is An Island' released in 2022 spans more than forty tracks, MUUI shares a reflective stream of conciseness embodying the emotive moods of the deeply human experience of becoming, growing, dissolving, transforming and the encapsulating awareness of our interconnection. Born from his Inherent experimenting and engaging with analogue machines - the album is derived from live hardware recordings during 2021 - documenting an echo chamber of experiences - carving out a captivating work of art, joining the dots of inspiration between light and dark from emotive atmospheric immersion to soul searching abstraction and club-focused tracks - all crafted with his unique approach to electronic music.

"mosey" (verb) : to walk or stroll at a leisurely pace...

Chicago based musician, DJ, and producer, “mosey” or Michael Osterhaus began playing classical at a young age on the clarinet and saxophone. Being a guitarist as well, his musical tastes were more focused around alt-rock and indie before diving into the world of electronic music after moving to Spain in 2014. Since that time he has become a well established warm-up DJ in Chicago. In the past few years, he has played along acts such as Rodriguez Jr, and Andhim at the legendary Spybar, as well as underground acts like Chaim with the Rituals underground crew. During 2019, Michael hosted a number of his own successful parties featuring Squire, Robbie Akbal, Christian Voldstad, and Viktop. Michael has been hard at work on his own original music that he hopes to share with the world this coming year.

“DJing provides an opportunity to create a mosaic of feelings and emotions particular to a specific time and place. I hope this selection of music can accompany you wherever your journey takes you.”
