We know that the comeback of our head-honcho to Roush always creates big expectations. Since his very first EP on his own label entitled 'People Talk' back in 2014, Hector Couto have been defining the sound of Roush giving his personal touch. That recognizable trademark is based in a great taste on sampling, an unforgettable drum patters and unique basslines that have seen the light not only on Roush, also in well-known labels such as Saved, elrow or Defected. Regarding to his new EP, title cut, 'Rush Up' is an absolute dancefloor heater. The combination between sharp and open hats gives the track an unexpected and catchy groove while the detuned lead offers a nice call and response. Next up, 'Dimension' is an homage to Hector roots. An old-school vintage break, acid drops and a clever arrangement are the responsible of making this b-side a great tool.
