I found myself wondering where I'd be in a self-insert Undertale AU a few days ago, and I ended up landing Clara in the Mettaton role lol.. the context of this fight is that a door in the hotland replacement was malfunctioning, so you and the Alphys replacement have to create a bunch of robots that can manipulate machines with magnetic waves to unlock it - these two robots end up taking hold of Clara and sort of possessing her after a malfunction of their own, scrambling her personality and priorities and causing her to enter a kind of delusional state where she currently believes she's a vtuber/streamer/idol personality livestreaming the event known as kicking your ass (she doesn't get a personality change, just a bit of a switch- she's sorta already a form of "idol personality", the robots just switched her into "showtime" mode when clearly she shouldn't be)

you would end up winning the battle the same way as in base Undertale, except instead of shooting Mettaton's heart, you'd shoot the robot drones controlling Clara. of course, due to Clara's low defense... You COULD go for her directly, but that would kill her probably. yall wouldn't kill her right... right...

The third version of Template Strample, a combination of Wicher's and Igor's. Was removed because J-Bug eventually decided that the original version fit better, and had Wicher just make an updated version of that. The industrial sounds and "that scary intro from Igor's version" were kept however, so progress was indeed made over the course of these takes.
