my abnormally large collection of hycrisik themes

i could be wrong but i think i may have been the first person to post a DWAD cover wip

anyways now for the list:

The Original - an even balance of everything. the fear, the desparation, the thrill, the beauty-- it's just generally a banger.
chungified wip - my wip. tried to get creative, you'll hear the rest soon.
thrique's wip - not a great intro but overall it goes hard.
Descartian Exorcism - the most actively stressful and frightening. fanta did a really good job with this one. she also opened the door for more DWAD covers with it.
Jounder's Arrangement - off-putting, thrilling, pretty good, but personally i prefer hayden's and fanta's.
Ciphered Arrangement - hodgepodge at it again with another banger. this one has all the thrill of dwad, and in my opinion goes harder and is better as a song-- but it loses all the desparation.
thrique's Cover - just like the original, it's an even balance of all the emotions, however it loses the subtlety that the original dwad. generally quite good.
Swift Willowtree's wip - another rough wip i guess
an inky cover - amplifies the beauty of the original by a TON. oh my god. this one goes. 
Dogtroid's Cover - not much new stuff to comment on. as a song, it's really good though. no innovations i noticed. i love the instrumentation tho, the dont forget bit goes hard.
Hayden's Way - the most off-putting, unsettling, and discomfiting. haunting as shit.
Hayden's Second Way - pretty much same but better mixed
fireclover - really well mixed, well put together, all around a realy good song. not too creative tho not much to comment on
hollowlillies/rosaic- not much innovation aside from the dont forget section, pretty good, but i like the dont forget bit section a lot. also the "the place" breath in the freedom section wnt hard as fuck
Bob T.C. - something about the opening to this one is just... idk i like it the most
my only complain is that the song is quiet and kinda mellow throughout but this is honestly one of my favorites

God, this cover was... SOMETHING to work on, alright. The original song has this very unique feeling to it. I don't know how else to describe it except, something like a regretted suicide attempt? Like you're at death's door, but you've decided that you don't want to die yet and you're desperate to go back to the world of the living. Or your survival instincts kick in, haha. 

Either way, it's a blend of horror and pure desperation. So I tried augmenting that feeling with a bit of inspiration from other 'demon-slaying' songs - mostly stuff like Hakita's ULTRAKILL work, Super Miriam from FAITH III, modern DOOM, etc. This is my first time trying to do something like that, so if it's a little rusty, you can guess why. I hope everyone likes it, though!
