Floral, tart, and not too sweet. Today's cousin to one of our favorite cocktails, the margarita, gets an eclectic kick from dreamy and at the same time vibrant grooves. We're very happy to announce talented Greek duo Miraval with this exclusive and mesmerizing new episode. 

During spring of 2017, Dimitris & Lazarus Kitsas gave shape to their strong connection with mount Olympus, where they grew up and got the inspiration for their beautiful music. Their love for deep electronic music, combined with various multicultural influences, has resulted in stunning releases on labels such as Hoomidaas, Akbal Music, Fluglab and many more. 

Despite only being around for a couple of years, the name Miraval has created quite a buzz across the scene already. Their exclusive mix for Schirmchendrink represents what the two brothers stand for: emotive vibes, hypnotic beats and kind of a mystic sound. That must be the influence of Mount Olympus!

Yes, welcome to Wednesday, where another exclusive PFG Progcast awaits. This week we are celebrating all things Irish, as we gear up for a special St. Patricks weekend ahead, with this our 3rd Paddies Day mix!  

And have we got something special lined up today... Following on from previous Paddies day sets from Khankra & Jay Doyle, we are delighted to welcome back another of Dublin's finest. Currently enjoying an extended tour of Argentina, and armed with an exclusive mix from that trip right here, put your hands together for GUSTIN!!

Currently based in Ibiza, Gustin is resident for The Soundgarden events series and owner of the newly formed Intu Music record label. Aounghus began DJ'ing in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland, playing inner city house parties and illegal after hours clubs in the mid 90’s. 

After re-locating to Amsterdam just after the millennium, he caught the ear of Jayhwalk, resulting in a residency allowing him to fully develop his sound.  Alongside industry stalwarts such as Matthew Dekay and Hippee & Halo, he also curated his own weekly event named ‘House of Progress’ (HoP) where he played regular seven to eight hour solo sets.

In 2015 Gustin moved to Ibiza where he currently lives, but he can regularly be found playing across Europe, the USA and South America both as part of the The Soundgarden family and more.

Gustin’s infectious sound makes a dancefloor move from the bottom up with a unique blend of lush, pumping, techprog house music. Here with the full recording of his set at Aquabarra, in San Luis Argentina (25/2/23)

Montreal-based DJ and producer Jares is set to release his upcoming Nightcall EP on Sasha Carassis ILINX imprint. Known for blending ethereal, orchestral, and progressive sounds, Jares aims to create an inner state of euphoria and mindfulness through his music. The title track unfolds with an energetic and dynamic structure, driven by pulsating beats and an evolving rhythmic intensity. The composition builds a sense of movement and urgency, eventually giving way to a deeply atmospheric melodic break. This section introduces a dreamy ambiance that contrasts with the earlier intensity, allowing the listener to immerse themselves in a moment of emotional depth. A haunting vocal line weaves through the melody, adding a human touch that enhances the tracks expressive quality. Tommy Js version of Nightcall presents a distinct percussive-driven vision, where rhythmic elements take center stage. From the very beginning, the track is infused with intricate drum patterns and deep, resonant kicks that establish a hypnotic groove. Layers of organic and electronic percussion intertwine, creating a dynamic flow that keeps the energy pulsing throughout. Despite its rhythmic intensity, the track maintains a sense of balance, allowing space for subtle melodic elements to emerge. The final track, The Day We Found It, feels like a hypnotic voyage, built around an airy, atmospheric pad that sets a deep and immersive tone. A looping vocal sample weaves in and out, while soft percussions provide a delicate pulse, creating a fluid, natural rhythm. These elements breathe and evolve, never overpowering but rather guiding the track forward with an organic flow. At the heart of the composition lies a lead synth that emerges during the break, offering a moment of clarity and melodic introspection. The Nightcall EP encapsulates the vision of ILINX—a platform for forward-thinking, evocative electronic music that merges rhythmic complexity with deep melodic storytelling.

DJ & producer Sturge, originally from Belfast, is now based in Ibiza after spending over a decade in London. He has been DJing and promoting electronic music parties across Europe and beyond for many years, from Belfast to Burning Man, from London to Berlin. As one of the curators for the Celtic Chaos stage at the Burn, he takes equal pride in his curation as much as in his DJ sets..

Sturge is an avid collector of all things electronic. From the early days of purist Techno in the late 90s and early 00s, his repertoire has evolved and he is adept at playing anything from downtempo to Techno, but these days the BPM is irrelevant. His eclectic sets usually tend towards emotive and driving melodic Techno- emotion is paramount in all his selections, and the perpetual intention is to take the listener along on the journey. This journey over the past three decades has led Sturge to develop his personal sound as he continues to hone his craft.

As much a regular in the underground scene as he is on some of main stages in London and at Burning Man, he has shared the bill with the likes of Gorgon City, Township Rebellion, Osunlade, Christopher Coe, Christian Loffler, Igor Marijuan, Seth Schwarz, Natascha Polke, Josh Butler, Roy Rosenfeld, Jim Rider, Jon Charnis, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Mees Salome, John Daly, Moonwalk, YokoO, Be Svendsen, Jan Blomqvist, Chaim, Solvane, Prismode, The Scumfrog, Unders, Britta, Goldcap, Sabo, Rey&Kjavik, The Desert Hearts crew, and Aidan Doherty, to name just a few! 

Sturge’s first mainstream release, What Were The Skies LIke When You Were Young, was released on Musique De Lune Records in summer 2024. This stunning 5 track EP, featuring the lead track and four remixes, went straight into the Beatport top 10 and gained immediate support from industry heavy hitters Above and Beyond, Adriatique, Audiojack, Agoria, Armin Van Buren, Ame, Black Coffee, Blond:ish, Bedouin, Christian Varela, Jim Rider, John Digweed, Joris Vorn, Joseph Capriati, Marcelo Vasami, Mariano Mellino, Nick Warren, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Loco Dice, Mind Against, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, and Solomun. 

Exciting developments are on the horizon for the next chapter of Sturge’s career, as highlighted by recent standout sets at Akasha in Ibiza and a move to a hybrid live set. New releases will be coming shortly on some standout labels- with sets lined up across the globe, the sky’s the limit and the future is bright.
