Undlit streets and adjacent territories often become the causes of situational crimes. These factors make it easy for the perpetrators of their atrocities: it is easy to go unnoticed in the dark, and it is also easy to cover up criminal traces. At the same time, darkness and lack of witnesses in most cases complicates the work of law enforcement agencies investigating these violations.

- "Neon streets are not only beautiful, but also safe." - words of the mayor of the city who was chopped up into pieces when leaving a nightclub 3 months ago.
