MEZ is both. Based in Vienna/Austria the producer of Jewish descent has been making beats for years. It’s natural to him, like other people brush their teeth or eat cereals in the morning. Not a day at home has gone by without Mez blasting his stereo in his small but well equipped studio for his neighbors to go crazy. Yes, he uses a lot of deep bass. 
Throughout the years Mez has adapted refined beat making skills. His ear for sound nuances is merciless. Technic and innovation, or “je-ne-sais-quoi”, has created the perfect synergy. By the way, his artist name Mez is derived from the Hebrew word “Mezuian”, meaning “perfect”. 
His keyboard playing with its melancholic harmonization merges with his strong Dilla-esque beats that jump his mind. Layered to perfection, NuSoul goes Gangster!
2013 soul singer SOIA and Mez released their debut album “Mood swings” on record breakin’ (USA), and their next album “Hidden in Obvious Places” will be released in 2015. Otherwise Mez is best known for his productions on Raashan Ahmad’s album “Ceremony”.

STVDB, bürgerlicher Name Stefan van de Bovenkamp, wurde 1981 in LA USA geboren. Nach der Trennung seiner Eltern kam Er im Alter von 4 Jahren nach Österreich. In Wien angekommen lernte Er auch sofort in seiner Volksschule ein paar der späteren Crewmitglieder rund um FFC (FLISH FLASH) kennen. Aber zuerst experimentierte man im Alter von 13 - 14 Jahren mit Harten Riffs gemischt mit anderen Einflüßen wie z.B. Jazz oder Blues. HEPATITHIS B war geboren, bestehend aus Daniel und Fabian Schreiber ( Twin Towers / Super City Soundsystem ), Daniel Zipin ( Dj Mezuian / Family Bizz ) und Dieter Mayer ( LaDida ). Nach einigen Auftritten der 14 jährigen mit ihrer Cross-Over Band verläuft sich die ganze Geschichte wieder und man verliert ein bischen den Kontakt zueinander.

STVDB ist zu dieser Zeit schon durch seinen um 6 Jahre älteren Bruder auf die ersten Hip Hoptracks gestoßen ( Ice T, Snoop Doggy Dog...) und entscheidet mit dem Freestylen und Texte schreiben zu beginnen. Ein Schulwechsel 1995 führt zum ersten Kontakt mit Mitgliedern der damals schon bestehenden HERBE MISCHUNG. Nach dem man die gemeinsamen Interessen bemerkt entschliesst GNH (Geronimo Hirschal) Ihn auf eine Bandprobe mitzunehmen und sofort wurde er ein Teil der Crew. 

Zeitgleich begannen die TWIN TOWERs mit ihrem ersten geschenktem Sampler Beats zu produzieren. Immer wieder wird auch MEZUIAN eingeladen, um Beats zu produzieren. STVDB und LADIDA beschliessen über die Beats Texte zu schreiben und aufzunehmen. Diese Tracks kursierten im Internet und ereichten dort Kultstatus. FLISH FLASH erfreute sich nach kürzester Zeit einer treuen Fangemeinde. Als dann noch MC JACK oder JACKY dazukam war die Gruppe komplett. Hauptsächlich wurden damals Promo Cd´s in Umlauf gebracht, die bis heute als Rarität gehandelt werden. 

HERBE MISCHUNG und FLISH FLASH traten natürlich durch das gemeinsame Crewmitglied STVDB immer wieder zusammen auf. Es ist also nicht verwunderlich das die Crews sehr simultan ihre ersten Releases hatten (Subotage Rec - Fried Kutz, Boombap 4) leider trennten sich Flish Flash 2002 und jedes Mitglied der Crew ging wieder seinen eigenen Weg. Mit HERBE MSICHUNG releaste STVDB nachher noch die Debut EP "AUCH EURE STADT WIRD BRENNEN" (2002) auf High Hat Records und kurz darauf die LP "EINGEMISCHT & AUFGEMISCHT" (2003) auf dem hauseigenm Label Pentagon Records!

Seitdem hat STVDB auf allen Bühnen Wiens und auch Österreichweit gespielt und auch schon einige auslands Auftritte wie z.B Sofia, Bruno, Prag, usw.. absolviert. Mittlerweile kann Er auf eine stolze 10 - 14 jährige Bühnenefahrung, Mit Live-Auftritten, Moderationen und sogar am Theater (RAP ATTACK) zurückblicken und das merkt man wenn STVDB die Stage betritt. Zur Zeit arbeitet Er an seinem Solo mit dem Titel "Einfach Machen".

Der wiener Musiker, mit amerikanischen Wurzeln, findet sich in fast allen musikalischen Spektren wieder. Sein erstes Zusammentreffen mit Turntables war bereits im Alter von 12 Jahren, aber erst nach ein Reise durch Hip Hop und wiener Rap, trafen sie wieder zusammen und TrommelWirbel entstand.

Auch seine elektronisches Schaffen lässt sich nicht begrenzen, mit Deep House bis hinzu Techno animiert er beim Auflegen die Massen zum tanzen. In seinen eigenen Produktionen, von 110 bpm bis 120 bpm, spürt man seinen Background aus den verschiedensten Genres, die unter dem Konstant Daneben Records releast werden.

Gespielt hat er in allen Clubs die Wien zu bieten hat, bekannt ist er auf fast allen Open Airs und ist Gründer des Kollektiv Sunthing, mit dem er selbst Parties, Festivals und Open Airs organisiert.

DJ Joe-Joe- Host of THE DIGITAL KONFUSION MIXSHOW on Radio FM4. DJ Joe-Joe is one of the founding dee-jays/member of the DIGITAL KONFUSION CREW originating out of New York City. Joe-Joe is known as a 4-to-the-floor specialist who loves playing House and all of it's relative offspring; tech-house, electro-house, minimal, soulful/vocal house and (even it's grandparent) disco. Our band name
consists of - “atma” –
“personality” in
translation, and “sfera” –
something which surrounds a
personality. This title says
about something which
surrounds a personality -
his internal world, feeling
and experiences. Each concert
is really an event for
musicians where they express
themselves completely to

listeners, apart from it,
