The "Seduction" CD Series &amp; The "Seduction" Parties

"Seduction: Sexy, Seductive Beats for the Bedroom, Vol I" was the first CD Donovan ever produced for an Official Release Party back on April 24, 2002 during his first DJ residency at the W Hotel.  It was perfectly fitting with the sexy, elegant vibe of the W Hotel.  
  
"Seduction" spread like wildfire throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area.  You could would walk into any retail store, upscale restaurant or lounge in the city and hear it playing all the time.  A new "still undiscovered" star was born.  However, the most rewarding part for Donovan was receiving all the positive feedback from people who actually played it and enjoyed it in the privacy of their own bedrooms.  
  
The purpose of "Seduction" was to show a different side of house music.  A sensual, erotic side that would "enhance" your sexual experiences just like a good Sade, Maxwell, or Prince CD.  Donovan's ultimate goal was to have people putting "Seduction" with those "special" CDs on their music shelves.  

Through the hundreds of hours of listening sessions, Donovan came to learn that there is distinct difference between what is "Sexy House" and what is "Sexual House".   "Sexual House" is music that grabs you in a different way.  It reaches deep inside of you and pulls out that animalistic lustful feeling that leaves you sexually tingling.  He describes it like ecstasy without a drug.  So through this discovery process of making "Seduction", Donovan pieced together some of his most incredible "sexually enhancing" songs, some new, some old, that evoke erotic emotions and feelings through you like you have never felt before through house music.
   
On April 24, 2004, Donovan unleashed "Seduction: Sexy, Seductive Beats for the Bedroom, Vol. II" onto the world and this CD sequel went onto become a timeless San Francisco "house music lover" classic.  Donovan packed over 1,400 people into Ruby Skye nightclub, who produced a breathtaking burlesque show and was the first introduce the nightlife concept of "Beds as VIP couches" to San Francisco before Donovan's infamous "Bedroom" parties became a national institution.

"Seduction II"s biggest claim to fame was being officially revered as San Francisco's #1 Swinger Party "Pleasurezone"s Official Afterparty CD.  So, needless to say, Seduction II served it's seductive purpose to tens of thousands of people, throughout the Bay Area and permeated throughout the world.

ABOUT SEDUCTION VOL. III
After almost 5 years since SEDUCTION II, in February 2009, Donovan delivered the most highly anticipated CD release of his DJ career the evening before Valentine's Day.  Over the past 5 years, Donovan has collected some of the sexiest records to put on this album.  As many of you know, Donovan takes a lot of pride in his CD mixes and treat them like a piece of art and SEDUCTION III is Donovan's first Downtempo CD where he explores creatively mixing the sounds of nature (rain, thunder, waves, &amp; fire) with music.

Donovan is also revered as one of the leading pioneers famous in for performing a variety of unprecedented, dedicated, music genre-theme DJ sets incorporating live musicians and performers to compliment whatever theme; dancefloor vibe he is creating. Donovan performs dedicated Latin house sets w/ Latin trumpet players, saxophonist players, Spanish guitarists, timbales drummers, salsa dancers, flamenco dancers, samba dancers, and capoeira dancers. Donovan performs dedicated Classic Rock-Fused House sets w/ electric guitarists, bass players, keyboardists, electric violinists, and traditional rock drummers, often times with famous rock musicians such as Adrian Young (drummer from No Doubt) and Uriah Duffy (Whitesnake, Lyrics Born).
