With a first class EP did Third Person take a step up from MUKKE to Katermukke. First track is Andromeda, a collaboration with Notron which is a smoothly transitioned sound between the two acts. Grabbling synths combined with big horns and and a well tuned groove are bringing ‚Andromeda‘ to life. The follow up is ‚Aurora‘, which turns out to be a sophisticated listening piece under a broken beat pattern. Last off is ‚Return Of The Light‘ a driving tune consisting of a massive sound build and astonishing synth work.

Darin Epsilon welcomes Trilucid for the 52nd release on Perspectives Digital, which was recently nominated for Breakthrough Label of 2017 in DJ Mag’s Best of North America Awards.  The London based duo of Andy MacDougall and Hilton Caswell teamed up in 2013 after a series of successful solo projects and are currently residents of the Gallery Club at Ministry of Sound.  Together they’ve showcased their pristine style on top labels such as Toolroom, Anjunabeats, Perfecto, Coldharbour, Flashover, and Black Hole Recordings.

For their first EP on Perspectives, Trilucid combine the groove of Progressive House with emotionally charged melodies to craft the perfect summer release.  The warm bassline in ‘Endless Moment’ is layered with hypnotic vocals and delicate, breezy melodies, while ’Twist’ earns its name with playful keys on top of galloping bass and reverberating stabs.  With a top notch debut and solid relationship with the industry’s leading imprints, the two are no doubt quickly headed down the road towards superstardom.

Berlin based DJ/producer and classically trained pianist Martin Roth has been receiving critical acclaim and praise since being named ‘Beatport Star of 2009’ alongside Eric Prydz and Deadmau5, as well as three nominations at the annual Beatport Awards.  He has smashed the Beatport charts numerous times with releases on Anjunadeep, Sudbeat, Global Underground, Black Hole, and Parquet Recordings.  Martin’s masterful remix of ‘Endless Moment’ brings a darker and more intense edge to round out the package, and solidifies his reputation as being amongst the industry’s elite producers.

Jerome Isma-Ae & Tone Depth land with an intense track, full of synth harmonic layers and a big bassline. Stas Drive & Mystep count on lovely Cari Golden's voice for another potential hit. Paul Anthonee, Haze-M, Inner Rebels and Haptic on vocal duties delivered something epic, hypnotic and up-to-date. British producer Mark Jenkyns joins Hottrax with two separate collaborations alongside vocalist MIZBEE and Ecuador’s Andre Salmon titled ‘Sirens’. 

Having released on Hot Creations, Suara, Of Unsound Mind, Rebellion, Lost Records and Resonance Records, Mark Jenkyns has unquestionably established himself as one of the most sought after producers in modern day house music. As a DJ Jenkyns is a regular name on the line-ups of Paradise Ibiza, when not making appearances at the likes of The Warehouse Project, Lightbox, Digital, Egg and BPM Festival. 

Snappy snares and a meandering bassline lay the foundation for ‘Sirens’ as it continues to generate an infectious rhythm alongside MIZBEE’s scintillating vocal; luring listeners in much like the mythological creature that inspired the track title. Scatcity Records launch into 2019 with the return of Ivory to the label, delivering a three tracker which has already gained the backing of label supporters Dixon and Ame.

The title track kicks off proceedings as a dark and eery tech roller. Sharp synth stabs flutter over the higher frequencies whilst a jittering bass line marches onwards throughout the entirety of the track. Colour arrives on the scene as a sunset of light chords that reverberate in the lead to the final climax.

Black Haired Sea sees a more melodic approach and has an almost live feel to it. Expect a concoction of trippy lead lines that swirl and throw you off balance before the arrival of a monstrous groove and emotional chord changes.

Closing the collection we see label head Skatman once again offer his interpretation, this time on Black Haired Sea. The product is a beautiful and calmer piece, with warm shimmers and subtle kicks that will see you right through until sunrise. 

Another fine collection from one of Berlins finest labels.
