The Winter solstice is here. Things are cold and long since motionless in Mother's Nature's frigid north, but between the frost in the air and crunch of the snow beneath our feet, magical things are always happening. Harrop, BC's very own Howl is acutely aware of that magic flowing through all things, even in the coldest of seasons - she works with it, every day, both within the world of music and beyond it. Arriving at Sub Chakra HQ's inbox at the year's 11th hour, her 79-minute mix of pure bliss is rife with future garage moods that both elevate the soul and contemplate on the nature of our being. all PURP everything. PURP is the alter alias of Turtleboy. An OG veteran in the bass music scene; PURP has been pushing the sound and culture for the past decade. With runs all over the west coast and notable festivals like Emissions, Serenity Gathering, Konnexion, Bamboo Bass in Costa Rica, and Curiosity in Canada. 

His sound encompasses the more dark & sultry side of bass music influenced by mythology, occultism, and screwed out trap music culture. His sets have been put in high regards and had key mix features with Beat Lab Radio, Danktronics, Wormhole and vibe.digital. 

A long time resident of Smoke Siignals and Brokenbeat; he's been a key co-conspirator for the Riitual and It's A Vibe series events.

Hailing from Calgary, AB, Tone.D (AKA Tony Davis) has been immersed in the local bass music scene since his teenage years. Starting out as a passionate participant, he honed his skills and in 2017, he joined the Sub Chakra crew to take his mixes & community involvement to the next level.

Drawing inspiration from a range of influences, including grime, jazz and the entire 140 spectrum. Tone.D has developed a distinct style that blends deep, melodic beats with eclectic rhythms. Whether he's spinning at underground parties or festivals, he never fails to captivate the audience with his dynamic sets.
