"Massachusetts-based producer Tonio Sagan bursts onto the scene with a sprawling mashup-meets-cinematic opus, “Stuff Dreams Are Made Of." 

Tonio begins the mix by sampling renowned astronomer Carl Sagan. Those words lead us through a soundscape of ethereal cloud beats and Hip Hop-influenced bass music, which is paired with wall-to-wall conceptually driven sampling. 

“Stuff Dreams Are Made Of” is one of the most carefully crafted pieces of its kind, in part because its emotional weight. The track features live bass and drums by Alchemystics founders Garrett Sawyer and Demse Zullo during the section with Nas and Aerosmith samples. The drum recording is from the first and tragically last show Demse performed in a project with DJ Neb and Tonio. Zullo passed away with his good friend Budzy in a tragic automobile accident shortly after. It’s a beautiful tribute not only to Zullo but all the important lives we’ve lost over the years."

@madben: "This DJ mix was recorded at home with music I’ve been enjoying recently, plus I included a few unreleased tracks from myself. I went into doing this with a "podcast" purpose, so this isn't a peak time DJ set per say (you can check my SoundCloud page out for some live DJ mixes if you want that). I attempted to tell a special story about groove, melody and fit in a bit of mental techno for good measure. I hope you enjoy it!” 

We’ve been following this Rex Club resident for some time now and fell for his ability to deconstruct the best of the 90’s techno movement with a unique twist of melodic groove, then bring it together in a means that is both provocative and gracefully punishing. The fact that he’s been heavily supported by the likes of such champions as Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, SLAM, Emmanuel Top, John Digweed or Mark Taylor from Underground Resistance speaks volumes of his capability to reach beyond the ears of just the techno purists. 
Today, MADBEN has found a home with the legendary ASTROPOLIS imprint and will release a new full length in early 2018.

2006 i came in contact with dubstep for the first time. i just was listening on small hifi speakers and i couldnt feel it thats why i didnt like the music. 2007 ive been to a dubstepparty with proper speakers and that was a complete new Experience for me. I changed my mind and started to produce dubstep. in halles clubs i played my dubplates and liked if i got any responses to them but i didnt had any release. i was doing it for myself and wasnt even thinking about soundcloud a long time. when i was creating the soundcloud (about 2013) I got in contact with lots of people. i also got in contact with labels like squinty bass records, iron shirt recordings and now also after dark music and subotage records. So now i got a lot of releases but also dubs. Right now im a part of a Bassmusicevent called "Suubz".
