LSN are a live electronic music production duo, formed in 2013. They have worked over the years drawing influence from conscious and active artists within dnb, trip-hop, psychedelic, metal and hip hop. Located in North Wales, producers Feonix & Na-kika, push sonic boundaries and blur the lines between genres bringing a sound that is fresh and unique.

Over the years they have created a diverse discography featuring vocalists such as Simetra, Warrior Queen, Rider Shafique and Roger Robinson, releasing music with Uprise Audio, Deep Dark & Dangerous, Sentry Records, Albion Collective and Diffrent Music. Their first LP ‘Oblivion’ was released on Uprise Audio in April 2016 followed by a series of EP's and singles (Control Pt 1 & Pt 2) in 2017/2018. In December 2018 they debuted on Artikal Music UK with Systematic EP. This venture gained regular play on renowned BBC radio stations - featuring on Toddla T’s 1Xtra show, Tom Ravenscroft Recommends on BBC Radio 6 Music and also electronic music trendsetter Mary Anne Hobbs’ show. In January 2020 they released on Artikal Music UK their second project named Automation EP, becoming regular members of the prolific imprint. Soon to follow was their third EP on J:Kenzo’s label, rave & breakbeat-inspired - Focus Life Energy. 

They are also working as part of the global Education & Bass movement, which has worked in favour of the aim of the collective: to push themselves to great heights and to bring something new to the music and art world.

Affiliations/Residencies/Projects: Label heads of Cutcross Recordings, spotlighting bass-centric sounds teetering around 140BPM. Resident DJs for Deep Medi. We’ve also hosted a Sicaria Sound radio show since 2016; Been on hiatus since October this year but we’re bringing it back in a new form in 2021!

Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community: Stay true to yourself and try to constantly remind yourself how worthy you are of what you’re doing. The music industry can be frustrating and alienating at times so please don’t hurt yourself by shying away from who YOU are; we shouldn’t be pressured to fit any kinda mould. Also, support each other in genuine ways: Give praise but also don’t be afraid to share constructive criticism. No one wants to only be surrounded by “yes” people, you want people who are real with you but with a compassionate approach.

About The Mix: It’s a balance between blends we would have brought to club sound systems if they were open vs. some off-kilter ones you’re more likely to kick back to at home, maybe play on a long drive to nowhere. As always with our sets there’s plenty of low-end and percussive heavy trax.
