Sub Channels Record is proud to announce their first release, "Epic EP," featuring a collaboration between Belgium-based producer Unlisted Fanatic and Moonshine Horns.

The track "Epic" is a result of the first "post-covid" spontaneous rehearsal session. After Martin just finished building his new fast-driven 90s UK stepper riddim, Jort and Kris came to a studio, and they both felt the vibes instantly. Very quickly this turns into a recording session where they have lay down the powerful, triumphant horn line. With bouncy bass and very clever percussion layering, it's a perfect backing beat for uplifting horns. On the flip side, EchoBoy slows down the tempo of the original recordings, transforming the melodic horns into more rootikal vibes. This, combined with hard-hitting wobs and ground-shaking subs, makes the B-side a more futuristic tune.

The "Epic EP" is coming out on 5th Sept. 2025 on a heavyweight 180g vinyl and digital download.

Dj Abassta se věnuje hraní z vinylových desek přibližně kolem roku 2000, kdy ho na akcích pořádaných Bass Beast Crew a Gardenzitty Sound Systemu okouzlil hudební žánr Raggajungle a tak začal sbírat vinyly a pustil se do Djingu.  
V roce 2005 byl u zrodu multižánrového R2D2 Family Sound Systemu a následně také členem Junglist Call Crew, v rámci které si zahrál po boku jmen jako jsou Demolition man, Tippa Irie, Sweetie Irie, Peter Bouncer, Rebel MC, Tenor Fly, King Yoof, Krinjah, Remarc, Deadly Hunta, Dj K, Top Cat, Spikey T, D.I.S., Psychofreud, Congo Dubz, Ray Keith, Marcus Visionary, Nanci & Phoebe, Krak in Dub, Mc Navigator, Terry T, Serial Killaz, Bladerunner či Dj Gold,.……
..…..Postupně svou sbírku rozšířil i o Dub a Dubstep a tak se spojil s Prag:Matics Crew a posledních 7let se věnoval projektu Energy of Dub.
Aktuálně je spoluzakladatelem labelu Sub Channels Records, kreří se zaměřují na Dub, Dubstep a Bass music.

Sub Channels Records is a brand-new record label, focusing on connecting the worlds of reggae and dub with the more futuristic sounds of UK bass music. Heavily influenced by the Jamaican sounds of 70s roots, and the love of dubplate culture, the music is built for a sound system.
