Now he is back to his home label Madrid based Logical Records, with new Kalma EP, which contains two original tracks + remixes of San Sebastian's duo The Two Mamarachos and Welsh's master The Long Champs.
So we was more than happy when we've been asked by our friends from Logical, to do a exclusive premiere of The Two Mamarachos remix - over seven minutes beautiful slomo journey which reminiscent music from the good old westerns. Enjoy

PREMIERE | Mr. BC - Katla (The Two Mamarachos Remix) Logical Records 2017

Mondowski releases his second EP for Relish called Surfin Hell. Including 2 originals and a remix/rework by Sébastien Chenut and Headman/Robi Insinna.

One year after his stunning debut on Relish with the aptly named Klub Psycho, French London-based dj/producer Mondowski is back with a new ep: Surfin Hell. The eponymous track unrolls a mesmerizing technoid slo-mo psychedelia suffused with acid elements paralleling an out-of-space surf rock guitar riff which finally morphs into a Morriconesque western soundtrack clip. While Headman aka Insinna reworks the original track into a late nite club anthem, Sébastien Chenut, one half of Scratch Massive, takes us even further back in time with a brilliant dance-floor oriented remix which tapes into a distinctly eighties New Wave melancholia. Mondowski's second new track, Delok, turns out to be a totally different matter plunging deep into the uncompromising depths of leftfield club electronica. In short, full blast!

PRÈMIÉRE: Mondowski - Surfin Hell (Headman/Robi Insinna Rework) [Relish]

For our next record on Light of Other Days, we reached out to friends & companions with the request to remix some of our past releases. Until now we were very thrifty with remixes. In fact we only released one remix so far and that one was by HOVE himself on ETHIMM’s very first release. So this time around, we thought it would be nice to widen our circle and reach out to some of our favorite producers out there and ask for a contribution.

First up we have Unkown Mobile. His EP «No Motion» on ASL Recordings was one of our favorite records of 2016 so we decided to just straight up ask him for a remix. He came up with a beautiful rework of Gray Chalk’s «Dense Layers of Suspended Water» by adding some lush arpeggios and percussion while keeping the original mood very much alive. 

Next, we have Zurich’s very own Phantom Island. Lexx and Kejeblos transformed «Romance» by HOVE from a blurry ambient track into a delightful balearic house tune with a beautifully nodding hight-ceiling atmosphere. 

Last year HOVE started working with Michal Turtle. What began as a live collaboration turned into a very fruitful relationship between the two and HOVE even started to record guitar parts for Michal’s new music. Therefor we thought it is only right add a Michal Turtle remix to the Package. Michal came up with a very nice spaced out 9 minutes version of HOVE’s «Journey to Arendal» adding some more bass, bells and lots of delays. 

Zurichs underground-wizards Jack Pattern released some of the most exciting swiss electronic music in recent years via their own imprint Lustpoderosa. They turned Ethimm’s signature track “Burning Down” into a wild and joyful ride adding acid-basslines, outer-space soundbleeps and wacky percussions to the originals’ main theme.

Vegas, the city of sin, the place where Presley went to set his soul on fire, the place where Nick Cage went to drink himself to death, the little man made purgatory in the Nevada Desert, within close range of the test sites of the Manhattan Project, the Science project which gave birth to the nuclear bomb. If something is Banned in Vegas you have to assumme it's so bad that it's good!
Blume Attempt's 'Hark Back (live)' is the final offering from the Series One tape compilation, which offers up a slow burner which sit's somewhere between Thomas Bangaltar's thee from Irreversible, and Mark Lannegan. Vicious saturated synth lines lay seductively beneath a subtle acid line which ironically starts to become more apparent at about 3 minutes 3 seconds. Something which your average techno nerd wouldn't fail to see the irony in. 
With a beast of a kick drum and a snare which hits so hard it makes you jump out of your skin, this track is spooky, fuzzy and awash with weird and wonderful vocals which only add to the idea that this track should not be banned anywhere, let alone in Vegas.

Penumbras is a remix EP by Utopyk & El Fulminador. The original version, a dark slow jam with sax melodies and Spanish vocals, has been previously released on Fulmen Records as part of the album “2011”.

This EP also contains 4 alternative versions, remixed by K-Effect, Ands Mega and El Fulminador. K-Effect from Spain has an instrumental approach with solid drumming and dark evolving soundscapes. Ands Mega from Mexico increases the BPM rate with a deep and hypnotic interpretation. El Fulminador “Noche” and “Mar” remixes go in different directions, with distinct instrumentation and harmonies, but keeping consistency. Individually or as a group, all the tracks in this release have potential to blow downtempo dancefloors.
