PREMIERE: Ruksby - Wrecking Home (Marching Machines Remix) [Nein Records]

Celebrating 9000 followers on the Feinstoff Soundcloud we have a contribution from Stockholm's very own rising star Marcus Christiansen. 

With inspiration taken from Musumeci, Phunkadelica and Multinotes, Marcus set out to make a track that would fit his friend's label Magenta, hence the track's name. With Marcus' signature, tom fills and driving bassline Magenta was supposed to be a hybrid between Italo and the deeper melodic side of house music.

Raised on computer games, science fiction and hockey anthems. It's no surprise that Marcus' music sounds the way it does. Playful melodies in a futuristic environment are presented in a big way—like an anthem is supposed to. 

Marcus' dj-sets could best be described as a retrospective journey into the future, taking on a lot of inspiration from the 80s and 90s with a strong focus on Italo, Dark Disco and EBM, as well as Synthwave and a hint of Trance.

Vilnius-based record label Good Skills presents a five-a-side of solid grooves with a trademarkMade in Lithuania. From slow and low to high and tight, “Sekta” is a compilation of organic textures and inviting rhythms, created by the up-and-coming local talents.The opening track delves into the “Emotions” of Shurmin Nikita. A proper intro builds on catchy breaks with distant vocals and a slo-mo that lends a funky vibe.Up next is Zakmina, one of the most-talked-about producers from Lithuania. “Dykuma” (Desert) is a promising collab with egoistic punk band EGOMAŠINA. PREMIERE : Shurmin Nikita - Emotions (Good Skills)

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a curse can be defined as “something evil or unpleasant that happens to someone, by or as if by a magical power”. It sounds like a thing to be avoided, doesn’t it? What if there was a good curse? If you doubt such a thing exists, just check Sadissmo’s debut EP on NEIN Records: “Dance Curse” (See? A good one) comes packed with highly danceable cuts featuring tribalism-infused elements and wilderness-soaked vibes. Besides two competent originals, the release breezes in with a splendid remix by the label honcho himself, Sir Neil Parnell aka Tronik Youth (SXDNS050/TAKEOVER001). 

Very little is known about Sadissmo. Our ruthless detectives found his real name is Raymundo and that he is currently based in Guadalajara, Mexico. The obscure artist seems to focus on his craft instead of social media & whatnot, hence the scarcity of information about him. Kudos!  

The remixer, on the other hand, needs no introduction: Mr. Youth has been keeping the fire burning for quite some time and he shows no signs of getting tired of delivering high-quality Indie Dance/Dark Disco themes. For his interpretation of the title track, Neil started spicing things up by going from 114 to 123 BPM. The OMG-bassline topped by the ominous vocal hooks completes the bewitchment of this beautiful curse.
