SubTerra (BE) is a Belgian underground DJ and producer duo consisting of Fabio Ottati and Kaan Kahraman, both with roots in the historic mining region of Belgium. The name SubTerra, derived from Latin, means "underground", a direct nod to their heritage and the deep, immersive sound they create.

With Italian and Turkish backgrounds, Fabio and Kaan blend their cultural influences into a unique fusion of indie dance, house, melodic techno, and afro house.They give an ode to their grandparents who worked in the mines by digging deep into music’s past, unearthing nostalgic elements and reshaping them into something fresh and modern.

The duo met while studying music at university, where they bonded over their shared passion for electronic music. This connection led them to join forces, developing their signature sound and founding a collective with whom they give their own parties. 

Driven by powerful grooves, emotive melodies, and a relentless passion for innovation,SubTerra (BE)crafts music that connects past and future, an underground journey waiting to be explored.

With a stage presence and positive energy reminiscent of James Brown, Sinclair commands the attention of your soul when he performs. His innate love for music and people brought him to the stage very early, winning the hearts of audiences as soon as he was agile enough to perform Michael Jackson renditions at middle school talent shows. 

Over the years, he has mastered many instruments and genres and developed a blend of musical expression and showmanship that is, altogether, explosive. And while “Mr. Dynamite,” may not yet be a title fitting for this budding star, Sinclair is an inevitable force to be reckoned with when given an audience. 

After spending 3 years on a national tour with Machine Gun Kelly as lead guitarist, Sinclair decided to combine his face-melting guitar riffs with his seamless DJ sets to create an unforgettable sound and experience of his own. Needless to say, he’s built a following that continues to grow as more and more people show up for the Sinclair Wheeler experience. You can bare witness at many of Chicago’s hottest nightclubs, where Sinclair now holds residencies and performs weekly.
