Our opening disruption for 2020 from comes from Rotterdam upstart, Tyrant. Brace for heart-racing savagery.

Jaded: Hi Tyrant, thank you very much for making this odyssey of hard and fast beats to start our 2020. Could you describe your artistic influences and your journey into techno for our listeners?

Tyrant: I would describe my style as aggressive, rough and sinister. As i'm mainly inspired by the older styles of industrial hardcore, I constantly find myself surrounded by this deep rumbling bass. When I produce, I aim to make something that isn't already there, something new, something never heard before. 

I do however get inspiration from many different types of artists like AnD, Dep Affect, Cubic Nomad, DJ Rush and many more. Overall I turn to the harder side because I just feel like my soul belongs there more. Dancing to techno, I always craved for the hardest of the hardest, but couldn't always find what I was looking for. This pushed me to just start experiment and practicing making my own tunes. 


Jaded: What's next for you and what do you hope 2020 will bring?

Tyrant: For 2020, I already have a bunch of releases planned.  For now i can't drop any news, but things will be fun. As I'm becoming a daddy this year I'll probably have a very tight schedule , so for now, i'm just trying to get as much done before the baby is here. The grind never stops though.

Jaded: Disruptors  - Tyrant

Artwaq is a 22 years old DJ & producer who lives in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He started making mixes about 1 year ago and tracks since the last months. In that year he learned about how to change a regular mix to a creative energetic story. The shape of his story's are created by dark ravesounds, often rude with a sensitive touch. The bpm is often high so you are never bored of it, sometimes even closing with some hardcore. Artwaq gets inspiritation of artists like: Ihatemodels, KRTM, Manu Le malin, D.carbone and Myler. Hard kicks are his speciality and the feeling of tension in a mix gives him goosebumps.

OMEN Recordings is debuting a long anticipated EP for lucky release number 13. Minneapolis based artist, Tanya Leigh, who contributes two original tracks to this modern techno EP. Other producers adding their mutilations are Italian techno artist and OMEN favorite, Ayarcana, Poland based producer, Marina Aleksandra, and AXKAN, from Los Angeles.

Machine - This track will entice you to put your head right into the speaker and get lost in never ending pummeling 4X4 kick drums. The militant drum patterns mixed with haunting atmospherics are woven together while hard objects hitting cold pipes echo throughout. The overprocessed vocal sample is branded deeply.

Origin - Comes blaring in with distorted kicks, robotic shakers and rattlesnake-like percussion teasing along with a siren that brings attention. The 134 bpm groove provides variation to spice up the industrial flavor infused with steam.

Machine (Ayarcana Remix) - The Darklord tears it up, chews and spits it out with this hard mutilation. Complimenting the 4X4 style, but adding heat and depth to make this a big room track favorite that demands to be played loud.

Machine (Marina Aleksandra) - This mash-up takes us to a new and experimental place that no one has dared go. Dissections of witch like vocals are heard throughout this hard-hitting and melancholic banger.

Origin (AXKAN Remix) - Testing how far the boundaries can be pushed again, this dismemberment takes every piece and twists and turns it into a new and darker interpretation. The underlying crunchy kick muddled in distortion is a unique characteristic of AXKAN.

After one week of silence, we are back!!

This week, we have a special 2 hours set from E11, a Dj and producer born in Rome and raised in London for the second part of his life, E11 has been mainly influenced by the energetic and psychedelic sounds of 90's rave tracks and the underground industrial rumble sounds found in Northern Europe. The aim of his production and track selection is to generate a room filling momento dictated by fast and sharp percussion rhythms, eccentric melodies and heavy hitting, distorted kicks. He's been Djing for 4 years now and producing for the last year and a half. So far, he's had releases on well-respected labels such as Unusual Records, Subrosa Records, Underground Collective and more.

Jorge and Natan have had a life of experiences together and from the very beginning they were passionate about experimentalism in its totality. They entered the underground electronic scene with no introduction and got to know each stage intensely, until they were part of this movement completely.
