Nguyen Duc (29 years old, born and raised in Germany with Vietnamese roots) as an artist goes by the name hotboysummer. He grew up in Dresden and discovered his passion for techno thanks to his best friend. 

After wandering around the Berlin Techno Scene for a really long time he moved to Bochum, Nordrhein-Westfalen. Since missing his friends and the old times together too much he started with DJing as a remembrance.  

His music is influenced by the time he spent in the Berlin club scene so you can always expect fast, strong Bass and impulsively sound.

He is newcomer but you can anticipate more of him in the future so it’s really worth it following his growth as an artist.

Sub Terra (Latin for “underground”) is an industrial and hard techno producer and DJ, with a passion for the deeper, darker sounds of the underground techno scene. Since embarking on his journey in 2018, he has honed his skills and developed a unique sound that blends heavy industrial kicks, melancholic and eerie melodies, and hypnotic hard techno rhythms all crafted to create an unforgettable sonic experience.

In early 2021, Sub Terra joined forces with like-minded individuals in the Kibernet Kriminalität collective. Through this collective, he has been able to connect with fellow techno enthusiasts and spread the message and sounds of the underground techno culture throughout Slovenia and southeastern Europe.

With support from influential DJs and producers such as SNTS, Nico Moreno, KØZLØV, Ma Čka, DYEN, Lorenzo Ragazini, and many others, Sub Terra's tracks have been making waves in the techno community. His ability to create a unique, industrial and hard sound has garnered him attention from fans and industry professionals alike.

Sub Terra's music is more than just a collection of tracks - it's a journey into the depths of the underground, exploring the raw and primal energy that drives the techno scene. With each performance, he aims to transport his audience to a world where the beat becomes a heartbeat, and the music becomes an extension of the soul.
