Working on getting a good Adam Jones tone from the Line 6 POD HD500.

This is largely from the Bogner amp & cab tweaking, but there is a bit of compression and overdrive.

Played with a PRS SE.

Another one for the list of projects started but not finished. In 2012, I decided to try and sing and record all the vocal parts to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. I got thru the intro and then added my rough approximation of the piano part and then added the lead vocal part thru the first couple verses. Hope to finish this some day, but for now sharing what I have done to this point.

Down In The Dismal Deep (GarageBand + Vocals)

The opening two-chord vamp was something I came up with at Vai Academy 2015. The rest of the parts came together in a matter of days. After months of knocking around in my head I finally committed the music to Logic Pro and here's the result.

Sticking Your Neck Out

The first minute and a half is the Les Paul Jammin', then Fender Stratocaster 1979 25th Anniversary (neck pickups in both cases).

Rhythm guitars are both the fender (arpeggios) and gibson (chords).

Bass is a Fender JazzBass. 

Signal chain:

Guitar(s) TC ND1 Delay -> Mesa Boogie V:25 -> CabClone -> GarageBand.
Bass -> GarageBand (compressed)

All tracks slightly compressed and little bit of chorus on the Fender Rhythm guitar. 

I realized the chords were Careless Whispers… so why not. :)

Crunch Channel, no EQ. Amp was left untouched for every guitar.

Mister Hooper's Revenge Upon Us All

Rhythm guitar from 16 seconds on is using Wall of Sound.

Cheating by using the CabClone to set up the load for the amp, then running the FX Send from the V:25 into my audio interface and into Logic Pro X. Then using the Wall of Sound's power amp, cabinet, and microphone simulation. Quite good.
