Legendary drum & bass producer Calyx returns to Critical with a couple of tracks well worthy of a place in his vast and hugely influential discography.

‘Out & In’ shows Calyx’s (relatively) softer side, smoothing out his typically high-tech sound into a spacious, easy-going groove blessed by Chimpo’s deadpan bars in just the right places.

‘My Dark Place’ is Calyx at his most unique and impressive; sublime, cinematic soundscapes subsiding into full-throttle, face twisting sonics that only a true master of his art could craft.

bang is Alibi, with his filthy remix of club favourite ‘Headshot’. 

The Brazilian studio wizard who now resides in Vienna, has been on fire the last few years and Break knew he would be the perfect man for the job. From the first play this remix has been a dance floor destroyer, constantly rewound all summer and sounding heinous on every system it was dropped on. The Brazilian’s gonna need an Alibi as he murdered this one!
