As an artist, Hypnotic Black Magic focuses on creating “musical journeys oscillating between dark and bright energies. Inspired by ritualistic music, atmospheric ambient and hypnotic techno, she offers through her sets an exploration of obscure, meditative and sensual emotions.”

This week we are glad to feature the Swedish-Norwegian artist Eyvind Blix. Based in Berlin, he is a prolific DJ and producer. He hosts a captivating and deep techno sound to create strong, cinematic atmospheres. Eyvind has released on labels such as Semantica, Polegroup's sub-label Aine and Oslated in the past, has played in clubs such as Tresor and at festivals such as Monument recently.

In this mix expect droney, hypnotic textures across the full audible spectrum. So buckle up and enjoy.

He has released on some of the worlds leading house music labels like Strictly Rhythm, Salted Music, OM Records and of course, our little class label, Bobbin Head Music. Not only is he one of the nicest blokes we know, he is incredibly talented. This 3 track release showcases his many artistic layers from Soulful summery infused house, to chopped up Nu Disco future grooves, through to classic deep rolling house. 

We were happy to sign 1 of these tracks, let alone all 3. This EP is one for all tastes. Get involved!

25 Years Fuse 2019 (Exclusive)

Mixed in one take, no edits or shenanigans, grabbing from a fine selection of lovely electronix produced between 1991 and 2019. The mix features the well known, and not so well known, and was recorded live by me into my mixer using 99% vinyl on the wheels of steel with a couple of other tracks never released played off the 'puter thrown in for good measure. The image comes courtesy of the very generous Matteo Mazreku.

Dave Mayer and I last worked together back in 2012 when I asked him to mix our Get Large Amsterdam compilation. We have kept in touch throughout the years and I have admired his consistent production work and successful DJ career. Late last year he sent over a demo pack that fit perfectly with the direction I planned to take Large in 2020 and I signed it immediately. I love the vintage feel to both of these tracks and there is just enough modern textures and sounds to provide a freshness and energy. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

Outta Limits Radio Show With DAMO B 2/4/2020

The international electro and techno producer community has come together to raise money for two charities doing vital health work during the Covid crisis - NHS Charities Together and Médecins Sans Frontières.

The project began in April this year. The resulting release is an essential compendium of techno and electro featuring some of the most respected creators working in the genre including The Hacker, Radioactive Man, Anthony Rother, Delta Funktionen, John Selway, Carl Finlow, Kronos Device, and more than 120 more!

The project has already raised over £3250 in pre-orders alone. The full release is out on 15th May via
