Black Asteroid's 22 Tracks For Mysteryland

This is the full recording of my last performance on the UNDERGROUND stage in DETROIT for the Movement Electronic music festival 2013. ive been attending the festival for over 12  years now and this year was by far one of the most memorable nights ive ever played in detroit. The bass on that stage is still till today the most intense things ive experienced in my whole DJ career. In order to continue playing we had to duct tape every piece of gear to the table and the faders on the mixer would not sit in one place ... although these technical issues presented problems in this recording. i decided to publish it as it is in order to preserve the memory of this day. With the focus on a snare drum roll, a upward pitching part, a melody, a fat baseline and acid elements. Acid in that case means, crazy sounds in a groovy beat. Hope you like it - have fun.

Recording from the insane Kompakt label night a little more than a month before the closing of Trouw. The crowd was insane - you have to be in order to brave the queue for up to 3 hours - the atmosphere electric. Michael Mayer and Maceo Plex played awesome sets. We finished the night with a back to back to back session until 9:30 in the morning. I hope to track down the recordings for the other sets as well...
